"Oh, how fashionably on time you are, love." I joked when I saw Elise walk on the dock. "On the dot, I might add."

"Oh shut up Elise. You can't blame us for not choosing to be extremely early like you. You're just lucky we managed to round up the crew and even this new kid we met along the way, and we even managed to get Ahalya out of the bed."

  I turned completely around now.

"Trey!" I yelled. "Oh my geez. I didn't think you would show up. Show me the bruises!"  I jumped from my Indian style posture to stand. As if Trey's words began to sink in, I calmly said, "You brought a stranger to my going-away party? You know I'm all for stranger danger."

Everyone laughed. Sure, it was a joke, but it had a little truth in it, and everyone knew it. Oh, my history. On cue, the crew parted into two separate sections to reveal the hidden stranger. I'm surprised he hadn't left, but oh, I'm glad he didn't.

"Close your mouth. I'd hate for you to catch a fly in your throat and burp it out later," That was Chelsea for you. She always has a comment like that.

I did as she said with a smirk on my face because I knew that everyone else knew I had dibs on the new kid, but I'm very much surprised he didn't take a hit on Ahayla before the time. Or better yet, I'm even more surprised Ahayla didn't take a hit out on him. They were both Indian people, although he had a skin complexion of a shade darker, probably from doing all the hard work in the sun which I inferred from the toned muscles that were easily seen through his plain royal blue tee. But the way his jeans fit perfectly in all the right places made me a little dizzy. And the shoes, what every women lives for! But hey, I highly doubt anyone could blame me. In fact, I knew no one would be able to even consider blaming me.

Even Chelsea didn't have anything to say when I almost started drooling over him, or when I was so caught up in his appearance, I didn't notice him make his way over to me.

But his deep voice woke me up when he said, "Hey, I am Mohin Arya," he held out his hands.

Me = enchanted by Mohin's voice.

"Me, Adellyn Mitchel. I mean, I'm Adellyn Mitchel," is what I managed to say. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mohin." He took my hand and gently kissed it. Am I glad that kissing hands don't just happen in chick flicks.

"Trust me, if you are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside, the pleasure is all mine," he winked. He let go of my hand, where the tingles were still going at it on my skin and somewhat through my body.

"I have to ask, where are you from?"

"I'm from a little city in India called Mumbai," he said with a wink. Even that little gesture sent shivers don't my spine... In a good way. "I arrived here a couple of days ago, but I haven't really toured the city."

"Well, I'll be leaving for my hometown in a couple of hours, but I wouldn't mind giving you the "best" tour of New York, or you can wait until I get back in town. I have to admit, though, it'll be a month," I stated in my best convincing voice.

"Let us make a deal. Show me around town before you leave, let me treat you to a meal, and we can get together again when you get back. How does that sound?" he inquired.

"Sounds like an extremely hard offer to turn down..." my voice trailed off as I realized I was supposed to be hanging out with my friends before my plane took off. I glanced over at Elise who stood necxt to Trey. Her eyes beckoned for me to leave with Mohin, and hey, who in their right mind would turn down an offer like that. "Let's go!"
