Jared(idk random name) and I had been friends since birth, and we are in college now. We barley fight and when we do we make up in about 2 seconds cause we can't stay mad at each other. The only problem is...I think I have feelings for him.
We were sitting on the bus to go to an art exhibit, since it was necessary for the course we were taking together. We were listening to Green Day and I was judging him for having Dancing Queen by Abba on his phone.
"Shut up, at least I don't listen to girl bands like All Time Low!" Jared snapped at me.
"Just put on Jesus of Suburbia and be quiet." I replied. It was silent, but not in an awkward was after that. We just enjoyed each others company.
"So...any sorority guys you have your eye on?" Jared randomly asks.
A bit taken back by this, you figure out something to say since you obviously have your eye on him. "uhh not at the moment. How bout you?"
"Ya, I got someone in my sights. But you have to guess." he says.
Great. I have to guess the name of the girl I envy the most.
"hmmm could you at least describe her?" you ask, not anxious to find out.
"Well. She's got long wavy brown hair. And these beautiful sea green eyes that I tend to get lost in." he dreams.
ugh. She sounds so pretty. I could never compete with her I already know.
"She loves the beach, has an amazing best friend how loves but she doesn't know..." he continues.
Could he be....no. I urged him to go on.
"She's looking at me right now and is sitting next to me on a bus to a crap museum. Truth is I only took this course so I could be closer to her."
At this point I was tearing up.
"So, Y/N I have loved you for 19 years. Will you finally be mine?" Jared nervously erupts.
"YES JARED I LOVE YOU!" you yell on reply as you crash your lips to his. At this point everyone on the bus is staring, but you don't care. You have him.
