Hey guys! Here's a new story about total drama! Such a huge part of my childhood and I hope you enjoy :) xoxo, Atr3mis

Chris Mclean paces around his prison cell, just like he was years ago when Chef Hatchet bailed him out to film a new season. It's been years, has no hope of that happening in the future. He had accepted that he'd be in prison for a while, and he and Chef had parted ways when Chef got a job at a fancy cruise ship preparing food. "All right inmates, mail time!" The warden yells. She is tall and blonde, and for the last four years, Chris has tried persistently to hit on her but ultimately was failing. The prisoners line up for mail. When she comes to Chris, she grimaces and hands him a small package. Chris flashes her his "reality tv" smile, which she returns with a distasteful frown. He looks down at the package, confusedly, since he wasn't used to receiving mail. Huh, that's strange, he thinks, I wonder who sent it. And why? Not wanting to waste a second, he turns away and rips open the packaging. He gasped. Inside, there was a letter and a large stack of 100 dollar bills. Chris scans the letter, wondering why he got the money and who sent it to him. It read,

Chris,

Total Drama is coming back with a whole new island and even more challenges, rivalry, and insane obstacles. Meet me at Abnaki Island if you want in on this. It could make us millions! P.s. the money should be enough to bail you out.

Chef Hatchet

Chris couldn't believe his eyes. Finally, after years, he could finally get back to hosting his series, and more importantly, making teenagers lives horrible for a few weeks! "All right dudes! Chris McLean is getting out of here!" he exclaims, holding up the money. He grabs the warden, twirls her, and kisses her on the cheek out of excitement. She sits there, dazed and blushing,  as Chris excitedly runs towards the police office, where he could finally get his freedom!

That day, Chris Mclean was not the only person who received a letter that day. So did Gwen, Heather, Bridgette, Cody, LeShawna, Ezekiel, Harold, Sierra, Alejandro, Izzy, Geoff, Owen, Beth, and to confuse everyone even more, Chef Hatchet also received a letter.

*time skip until they arrive at the island*

After being crammed on the single ferry taking them to the island for half of a day, the contestants were thrilled to see the sight of dry land. Chef got many questions about why he decided to bring the cast back for yet another season, but he didn't know how to answer them since he was not the one who invited them to the island. "I got no idea what you're talking about, Sierra ." He replies after Sierra's constant questions started to annoy him, "I got a letter from Chris saying come to the island for his new plan." Sierra glances at the floor, clearly thinking about their mysterious circumstances. "But Chef, Chris was in a maximum security prison... he couldn't have sent you a letter! Plus, I just asked him and he said YOU-" Chef cuts her off. "Save your questions for that kid Cody you are always following around. Now scram! We're docking on the island in just a second." And with that, Sierra whips out her cellphone to take pictures of the new island for her blog. One final post before Chris confiscates my phone, I bet she thinks to herself as they arrive at the island.

Similar to the original island, it had a summer camp- like setup. They arrive on the dock, lining up single file on the dock. Gwen sighs. "Where's Chris? He has to give that whole 'welcome to the island here's your challenge don't die' speech". Everyone looks around as Chris exits the boat looking just as confused as the others. "Normally campers, that's the deal, but the network didn't really give me any instructions my dudes... Chef, you were the one who invited me... dude, what's going on?" Chef turns around and stares at Chris, trying to figure out if he's telling the truth or not. "But Chris, you  invited ME," the conversation got cut short after Owen made a shocking realization. "Guys, who cares! There's food on the shores of the island!" Sure enough, in the beachy sand, there was a banquet that could surely feed all of them and more. The fifteen of them ran over to the long table filled with luxurious foods and sodas. "This is much better than Chef's cooking!" Exclaimed Cody, who quickly received one of Chef's infamous death glares, and decided to back off. "Look guys, there's a note!" Realized Bridgette. Her boyfriend, Geoff, picked it up off the table and read it out loud.

"Dear contestants,

Welcome to Total Drama! Most of you have competed on the show before, but this time it will be a little bit different. Notice I said MOST of you have been on the show. Well, most of you have. Chris, Chef, this time you two will be contestants as well. Every week there will be one elimination. You will compete in challenges to earn your team immunity. There are 15 of you and I thought that might be a little uneven, so I took the pleasure of escorting your "teammate" Ezekiel, or whatever's left of him after what you put him through on your show, off of Abnaki Island. Now, for your teams. Gwen, Heather, Bridgette, Cody, LeShawna, Chris, and Courtney, you make up Team Flaming Squids. Sierra, Alejandro, Izzy, Geoff, Owen, Beth, and Chef Hatchet, you all are team Flying Muskrats. If you try to escape, bad things will happen.

Yours truly,

The NEW Host of Total Drama.

Everyone goes silent. "So your saying this mysterious person we don't even know invited us here  to basically do what Chris did to us, but with a bunch of sick twists... I am SO CALLING MY LAWYERS ABOUT THIS!" Courtney yells desperately. She checked her pocket and her face goes blank. "My phone..." she stutters, "It's... it's gone!" Desperately, everybody checks their pockets, but to their dismay, their phones all were gone. Sierra lets out a blood-curdling scream and immediately begins sobbing. "My blog was on that phone! My LIFE WAS ON THAT PHONE!" In a mess of tears and crying, she grabs a clearly unenthusiastic Cody and gives him a death-grip hug until he couldn't breathe anymore and his face turned red. Trying to hide his nervousness, Chris scoffs. "So what? This is just like Zombie Badminton 2-" Angrily, Heather pushes Chris to the ground, shooting him the ultimate death stare. "I'll tell you what, Chris. That badminton movie SUCKED, also it was LITERALLY about a zombie badminton team so how does that sound like our situation even a little bit! Anyway, Mr. 'Host With The Most', listen here. The Flying Squid need a leader and I'm more than willing to take the position. You might be like twice our age and think you know everything since all of your pathetic, stupid low-budget movies, but here's the truth: you've put ALL OF US in this position before and you just sit back and watch. I say, we do what every Total Drama contestant ever has wanted to do: vote off the infamous Chris McLean!" The other Squids nod in agreement, but Chris refused to let himself get voted off that easily.

"Heather, do you know how many hours of Total Drama footage I've watched?" Sierra raises her hand and excitedly let's out a scream. "Ooh! I got this question right at fan club trivia night! I estimate between 9 and 7 hundr-" She looks over and sees a very unenthusiastic Chris giving her the stink eye for cutting him off. "Sorry!" She giggles. "Anyway... I've seen every catty, rude, and just downright mean thing you've done on my show and I got to say, I admire it. So here's a deal, dudes. Heather, you can be the team captain, as long as you guys can forgive me for all the stuff I did to you guys... we have to work together now, okay?" Heather snorts. "You, Chris McLean are... Sorry?" He looks down at the floor and fidgets with his hair. "Well I never said... well... I guess I'm..." he hesitates. everybody starts chanting. "Say it! Say it! Say it!" "Alright, Alright. Some stuff I did was well, not cool, okay dudes? And I guess I'm..." He lets out a deep breath. "Sorry. I, Chris McLean am sorry." Everybody cheers, and Heather looks skeptically at the man who basically tortured her and her friends for years, now flashing her an "I'm sorry" smile. "Well, that doesn't sound like the arrogant, stupid, idiotic, tortuting..." Chris angrily sighs. "Look, can you speed this up?" Heather rolls her eyes. "As I was saying, he sounds like he's changed and we should... maybe, just for a little bit, give him... a chance." Courtney laughs. "I guess Chris wasn't the only one that has changed since then!" Heather growls at her. "Don't count on it."

"Well," Chris says with his "reality tv" smile, "I guess since there aren't any cameras for this, but just out of old habits... More Drama! More romances! More obstacles! Find out who will go home next time on Escape From Total Drama Island!" Everybody laughs, and they all go off to their bunks. Little did they know what challenges they would have to go through tomorrow.
