Has anyone ever noticed how boring school actually is it's just tests, homework, and more homework. Well thats how my day starts after the paper route.

Groggily I sat up in bed, hair ruffled and eyes in a haze. I looked over towards my alarm clock to make out the time, 6:43. No that can't be right I squint to see better.

"Crap." I yelled.

I was right the first time, I was late for the paper route.

I threw myself out of bed and raced to the bathroom brushing my teeth and hair at the same time. Running I went back to my room and went to my closet. I shuffled through the clothes looking for something even a little bit presentable to wear. I threw on the first things I found.I l glanced at myself quickly in the mirror. I wore tight black skinny jeans followed by a loose gray tank top. I pulled on my black jacket and ankle boots. My hair was naturally black and curly and people often stared at my eyes since they were a bright aqua blue. Luckily my eyelashes were full at least an 1/2 long, my skin was pale and my lips a rose red. It was good I didn't want to wear a ton of makeup like the other girls since I didn't have the money to buy some.

Before I went to school and started my day of schoolwork and boardroom I needed to remember why I hid myself and why I needed to hide my condition, my....... powers. I needed to remain unseen, invisible, not important or the catchers would find me.

Catchers are professional assasians slash kidnappers that work for the Mutant Control and Dispatch Beurue, the M.C.D.B.

I launched myself out of the room and down the stairs. I went to the kitchen and grabbed two apples and a granola bar. I put the granola bar and an apple into my satchel for lunch and bit into the other apple. I ran out the door before Dale my drunkard of a foster father could yell at me and his yelling often involved swearing.

I hopped onto my new skateboard and sped down the street throwing papers toward every house. Quickly I looked at my watch, 7:28. I had two minutes to finish the route. Finally I finished the last block in my route and sped to school.

I rounded the corner and rode straight into Xander Rinnegan. Haphazardly we both fell, I waited for the for the air in my lungs to disappear once I hit the into him we both fell, surprisingly I fell on top of him. I looked up from where my head lay on his chest towards his laughing amber and honey colored eyes. Then all a sudden he chuckled and flipped us over so he was on top. My stomach started doing backflips, and I could feel the blush that now covered my cheeks. darn he was cute. He pushed himself up off me and extended his hand towards me to help me get up. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me carefully to my feet. He chuckled again as a deep red blush spread over my face, neck, and arms.

"Sorry, I'm so sorry." I whispered mortified. "I didn't see you and I really didn-"

" It's alright, surprising though I would say." He responded back while rubbing his neck nervously.

Wow he was nervous when talking to me, he was actually talking to me this was a revelation.

" Are you okay, Alianna?" He looked at me. "No bumps or bruises?"

"No I'm alright." I said softly. "Also you don't have to call me by my full name, you can call me Ali a Alia." I said, surprised that he actually Knew me name.

"Alright, well I better get going to school before I'm late. You are welcome to run into me any time." He said with a light chuckle. "See ya later."

He was cute, with his kind, laughing eyes and curly auburn and sandy colored hair. Now as I thought about he had a pretty good body too.

Focus Alianna focus.

I picked up my now squashed apple and threw it into the nearest trash bin. Then flipped my skateboard over and sped to the school's front door. Great my first day of Junior year and I started it by crashing myself and skateboard into the most popular boy in school. Great that's just great.

Nervous I checked my schedule not knowing what I had first hour. Yes, first hour History and mythological studies advanced. Now I just had to find my way to room 209. I turned the corner running towards the classroom not wanting to be tardy. I ran into the class room just as the bell rang. I looked around the room, everyone in the room were seniors. Well the schedule had said it was an advanced class. I looked around and found the only empty seats were in the front row. Crap, I knew front row seats were the worst. The people in the front are always called on plus this was a senior class so this really sucked pigs.

I took the seat feeling the stairs of the seniors burning into my back.. I set my bag carefully underneath the seat. I quickly took out a pen and my note book. I was finding a blank page to sketch on when someone cleared their throat behind me. Surprised I looked up into wise gray eyes. It was a man, he stood tall clothed in khaki pants, a blue button down shirt and loafers, he was actually kind of cute

"Yes." I asked a tiny bit annoyed and confused. He just nodded and walked to the front of the teachers desk and leaned against it. He looked over the class sweeping his gaze upon us. His gaze stopped on me, staring into my aqua colored eyes. Quickly I looked down, god why did he have make me feel like I didn't belong even more than I already did.

"Class I am Mr. Xavier, you're new History and Myths teacher." He introduced himself confidently. " I believe this is a class for seniors, am I correct?"

Crap, I was screwed.

"Yes." The class responded immediately not using any thought to give an answer to the question.

I quickly got up to leave. It was like god did you want to make me feel like crap. I was up ready to leave, when I heard Mr. Xavier speak.

"Class this is Alianna Bracken she's a junior, a very very advanced junior and she will be in our class this year."

I turned around highly confused, then I realized he had made me welcome is his class. He had made welcome so now it was the rest of the classes duty to make me feel unwelcome. They were going to tease me now, they would say stuff like teachers pet and nerd girl.

"It's okay Alianna, your welcome in my class." He said to me. "Go on sit down and we'll each introduce ourselves."

I was surprised he had actually went out of his way to tell the other students very discreetly that if they made me feel unwelcome in class he would punish them. Maybe this was going to be a good year, no bullying and spitballs. Every year I hoped someone would be my friend, sit with me at launch, someone to paint with, a kindred spirit, someone who saw beauty in the smallest blade of grass or the color of the autum leaves a person like me different in more ways than one. Ever since 4th grade I had eaten lunch by myself.

I walked back to my seat, my hair hanging low covering my face avoiding all the threatened glares from my older now classmates. I could feel tension and to my surprise jealousy rolling off my classmates in large waves. I quickly looked at the board, so it looked like I was focusing on the assignment. Suddenly I felt a jab at my brain, someone trying to read my thoughts I quickly hardened my shield and traced the aura to the person who had been reading my mind. It was the new teacher.
