IT WAS now midnight and the two teens sat in johnny's car with the stars illuminating the sky. both teens were asleep soundly. johnny was the first to awaken. as he stirred, he saw red and blue lights approaching them. "shit," he muttered. he and mackenzie were parked behind an abandoned factory. he had to think quick if they didn't want to get arrested.
he turned to kenzie and let her gaze linger on her for a moment. she leaned on her chair with her lips slightly parted and her hair all messed up. she looked adorable to him. "psst," johnny said shaking her. "kenzie!"
"what?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.
"the cops!" he started. "they're coming!"
"shit!" kenzie yelled. "what are we gonna do?" johnny thought quick and hard. his eyes widened. he suddenly had an idea though kenzie wouldn't like it.
"kenz, please don't kill me," he started.
"john, what are you doing?"
"just sit on my lap now!" he yelled at her.
"john!" she said. "i-i-i can't do that!" kenzie told him. after her sister, maddie, had disappeared two years ago, somehow she had found herself in maddie's ex boyfriend's car, the only sounds filling the air was their moaning. they had accidentally gotten too caught up in the moment and had sex in jack's car.
kenzie swore it would never happen again. it was why she was scared of falling in love with johnny in the first place. she didn't want to have sex with him only for him to leave the next day. sure, she was only sixteen but it was an accident.
"kenz, please," he pleaded with her. "just make this sacrifice once!" he pleaded again. "and you won't ever have to do it again! please!"
she gave in and crawled into johnny's lap. she breathed heavily before nodding at him. he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her and kissing her. kenzie couldn't tell if he was acting or just making an excuse for the cops.
the cops approached johnny's car. he opened his window and had a small conversation with the cop. "leave!" he told johnny, and he nodded. kenzie sat back in her chair, breathing heavily. was it acting or was johnny orlando just making out with me? she asked herself.
as johnny drove, his eyes stayed concentrated on the road. she placed a few glances on him and felt the same butterflies she had felt when she came to his school just to see him. she knew that johnny's ex girlfriend, sophia had warned him about her. she knew. but it didn't stop her from falling for him.
