Random student 1: Holy shit dude, how'd you do that!?

Y/N: All in the technique, my friend.

Random student 2: Woah man, you're gonna make qualifiers for the Vytal Festival for sure!

Y/N: Thanks bro.

Female student: Ya know sexy, you seem good with your hands, what else can you do with them~?

Blake seems to pick up on this because she quickly walks over to you and the girl. She grabs your arm, all while giving the girl a menacing stare.

Blake: Y/N! We wouldn't want to miss sparring would we?

Blake starts lightly dragging you away.

Y/N: Is the kitty jealous~?

Blake: No, I just don't want to be late.

Y/N: Well, you don't need me to be on time.

Blake pauses.

Blake: Touche.

-Timeskiperino...-

Jaune is currently fighting Cardin and is clearly being outmatched by him. Jaune continuously throws sluggish and predictable attacks, to which Cardin is easily able to parry them.

Cardin: This is where you loose.

Jaune: Over my dead-

Cardin wastes no time kneeing Jaune in the gut and getting ready to send Jaune flying across the ring; and would have if Glynda didn't call the match.

Glynda: Stop! Cardin, you win. Now, as you all can see, Mr. Arc's aura has fallen into the red zone. In a tournament style duel, the officials would stop the match and Jaune would be the loser. And, Jaune, please try looking at your scroll to gage your aura, so you can chose whether offence or defense is the better approach. We wouldn't want you getting eaten by a beowolf, would we?

Cardin: Speak for yourself.

Glyndia: Cardin, you may go back to your seat.

Glyndia: We have time for one more match today, any volunteers?

Y/N: I'll fight anyone.

Luna: Dibs!

Y/N: Ok Luna, think you can take your big bro?

Luna: Totally.

Glyndia taps a few buttons and both of your auras appear on the board. You both make your way down to the ring. Once you're both in said ring, you both shake hands, but you flick her in the forehead as you pull away.

Y/N: Hehe.

Luna: Oh you're in for it now, boy.

Y/N: Oh really?

You both drop into combat stances.

Glyndia: Begin!

You charge at her while she fires away at you. You deflect all of her shots while making your way towards her. She then swings her gun at you, trying to make you stumble back. However, you use your sword to deflect the strike and raise the gun ever so slightly. You then fire at her stomach with your pistol, only one shot hits because she pulls out a small knife and swings at your chest with it. You back up in surprise, giving her the opportunity to advance on you, swinging at you with her knife and shooting at you with her gun. She manages to hit you once before you gain control of the situation by kicking her in the stomach and swinging at her head with your sword. She blocks the sword with her knife instead of her gun, which surprised you slightly. She then uses the gun to block all the shots from your pistol.
