Shattered Dreams

- "Finally you're awake"
(...)
- "it's been a week now!!"
That was Adam trying to open a conversation with this mysterious corpse lookalike..
"mmm"
Matt mumbled!!
-"He is about to say something sir!!"
Said Adam addressing to officer Forrest.

Officer Forrest was standing next to the window smoking a cigarette!!
A week has passed since they found Matt sleeping on that big old dirty bed, alone in the darkness!! Not a single breath coming out of his mouth or his nose, it was a very terrifying state he was in, the room was more silent than graves, spider webs on the walls, and dust filled the place !!!
At first he looked absolutely like a dead body, no movement, no sound, no breath, but Brad was sure he was alive,
The police men took him to the nearest hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life, or at least what's left of it!!

Officer Forrest Threw a long deep creepy look at Matt, it felt like he was staring at his soul!!
He didn't say a word and just headed back to the window...
Brad followed him!!
"Have you come to a conclusion about the incident sir! "
Brad was a 24 years old young man who has recently joined the FBI..
But he wasn't just an ordinary lad, he worked on several cases along with Officer Forrest, he was admired and liked by all, and also was chosen carefully amongst 100 qualified candidates.

"More than 500 cases were put on my desk in only one month !! I solved them all, to an extent that I got bored and wanted something challenging !!
Now it looks like God had given me what I was looking for, But when god gives he gives with generosity!! This is more than what I asked for!!"

- "But sir !! There has to be an opening..
They say criminals always return to the scene of the crime"
Said Brad trying to be optimistic..
- "Stupid saying ! Our criminal never came to the crime scene in the first place!! "
Officer Forrest shouted angrily ..
it was the first time he raises his voice to Brad..!
"We are dealing with one of the rarest murder cases on the planet if not the only one, a family of 5 members all killed in the most gruesome ways and no trace, fingerprint, or a suspect evidence found except for this corpse  that's barely clinging to life!!"

Moment of silence pervaded the room,
A sharp voice broke it quickly, Adam scream spread through the entire hospital and the doctors ran to the rescue!!!

Matt was literally dying! !  !
