Let Me Love You

Let me love you when you can't love yourself
Let me show you that there's more to you than you believe
Let me be your ray of sunshine and your pillar of strength when life takes a turn for the worst
Let me show you your worth; show you how precious you are
Let me show just how perfect your imperfections are in my eyes
Let me take you to heaven and back when I am in your arms

Never have I met someone like you
Your soul is one made of gold; a rarity in this damned world
When I am down, you are the one who puts a smile on my face
And hold me together when I slowly fall apart
You give me hope; showed me that the past doesn't define me nor do my scars
That I am so much more than I led myself to believe

You replenish all the confidence I've lost all these years
And make me believe I am beautiful and will do great things
You see something in me that no-one else does
Accepting me for who I truly and falling for me regardless of my past
And willing to shield me and shoulder the pain that relentlessly beats me up
You have let me believe that I can be truly be happy; just you and I in our tiny world. Us together.
You are my light at the end of the tunnel

Oh, I don't know. Maybe I have fallen too deep, too fast
But it's what I'll believe as the months go by
Your voice like music to my ears; melting my worries away
And you, so handsome, your intricate beauty still stuns me

You are so ever sweet as honey - a gentleman at heart
Caring and understanding for you see me for who I am and like me for who I am
And a fighter - never giving up in what you truly believe in
There is so much more to you than you believe
Your imperfections are a beauty to me, ones that I would never change...

So if you ever need a hand, someone to talk to and be with you
Remember the foolish girl who fell for you and will always be there for you
