IT WAS A dark night, the only source of light was the full moon. Through the woods of a small town in Virginia called Mystic Falls a hidden cave held something special.

Through the dark cave, flames appeared on the torches along the stone walls. At the very end of that cave was a wood coffin, what's in that coffin you ask? Only someone that held the light of the moon.

Her glowing golden eyes shot open and looked around the darkness from inside of the wooden compartment. Her chest heaved up and down as she started to hyperventilate. The girl placed her hands above her and opened the coffin from inside. Odette got out of the coffin as pain struck in her body. She felt like every bone was breaking.

Odette fell to the ground screaming in agony as her body started to transform. White Fur appeared on her body and claws pierce out of her fingertips. When she was at her full form the only thing she felt was hunger. The white wolf darted out of the cave and into the dark forest.

Dawn approached and the sunlight seeped through the tall trees of Virginia. The girl with the dark hair slowly woke up with the sound
of birds chirping. Odette's eyes fluttered open and she slowly sat up in the grass.

She realized she was completely bare but she was then startled when Odette saw two dead bodies near a tent. Odette covered her mouth with her hand and then smelt the blood. Odette looked down to her hands and saw that they were covered in dry blood.

The girl started to panic, she stood up and examined the bodies. She then had a flash back from last night.

The couple that wanted to celebrate their first year together camping was having a blast. After they ate their s'mores, they decided to go into the tent to have a little bit more fun.

As the two undressed each other in the tent, the girl heard a growl and stopped kissing her boyfriend.

"Did you hear that?" She asked the boy, "I think there's something out there."

"It's nothing," The boy said and continued kissing her neck until he heard a growl.

He looked at his worried girlfriend and put his cloths back on and grabbed the lantern. He unzipped the tent and stepped out into the darkness. The growl continued and he saw a white figure. The wolf creeped closer and closer to him.

Until it pounced him, tearing his skin apart as he screamed for his life. The girlfriend ran out of the tent but the wolf caught her in time and tore a part of her arm off. The girl looked into the wolf's golden eyes before she took her last breath.

Odette felt tears fall down her cheeks. Her hands wiped off the tears and she checked for some extra cloths. Odette found a pair of jeans, a sweater and some shoes. She picked the leaves out of her hair and then started walking through the woods.

Odette made her way into a town, the place felt familiar but she didn't recognize it. The girl walked into a restaurant called Mystic Grill. Her eyes scanned people's faces until she met eyes with another. He had dark hair and blue eyes.

The man went by Damon Salvatore, and his friend next to him was Alaric Saltzman, a hunter. Damon turned to his friend with a concerned look on his face.

"There's a new face in Mystic Falls," Damon whispered, "I can smell blood on her."

"Who?" Alaric asked and Damon gestured towards the girl who looked like a lost puppy, "I'll go talk to her."

Alaric got up from the bar and started walking to the girl but she became startled and ran out of the grill. The hunter chased after her, she ran across the road with oncoming traffic.

Suddenly, she stopped a vehicle with her hands which left two big dents in the hood. Luckily no one saw except the driver.

Alaric Gabe Damon a look to take care of the driver while he continued chasing the girl.

"Stop! I'm not going to hurt you!" Alaric yelled at the girl.

Odette slowed down and fell to her knees as she sobbed into her hands that still had blood remains. Alaric crouched in front of the girl, examining her face.

"Who are you?" Alaric asked in a calming tone.

"I don't know," Odette cried.

"Come on," Alaric held out his hand.

Odette looked up at Alaric and she felt comfortable around him, like she could trust him. She took the man's hand and started walking.
