Chiron meets the newbies

We misted over to Camp Half-blood. I have the power as a son of Poesiden or Neptune to turn me and others into mist. The air then reforms the mist where I want it. I have been practicing recently so the huge gap between England and Long Island Sound was nothing. We landed right outside the border. I had explained all about it to the kids I found. We strolled in and the campers cleared a path for me but still they stared at the kids. I took them to the Big House so they could meet Chiron. Annabeth was playing with the Athena kid in her arms. A couple of Aphrodite kids had come over to meet her. All of my friends were shepherding the kids through camp.

When we got to the porch, I saw Mr D, Chiron and Grover playing a card game. Grover looked nervous and was chewing his shirt. He spat it out when he saw me. Percy! Will stepped in front of me. Grover Underwood, you were on strict orders not to eat your shirt! Grover bleated a sorry before dashing away. Chiron sighed and waved his hand making the cards vanish. Percy, what brings you all back to see me, he asked dryly. Well, I said signaling for the others to part. I revealed the group of 10 demigods. Wow, Chiron muttered. He touched each of their heads. After he had touched the last one, the symbols appeared over them.

Above Gabriel was a fiery red owl, the symbol of Athena. Annabeth shook his hand and took him over to the Athena cabin.

Destiny had the symbol of Hermes, winged shoes, floating above him. The Stolls whooped and cheered. They always welcomed another prankster. Katie rolled her eyes and began lecturing the three of them as they walked to the crowded Hermes cabin.

Eoin Barry had a hammer over his head which he was glancing at nervously. Leo raised and eyebrow before taking Eoin away to Bunker 9.

James looked up hopefully but dropped when he saw that it was a grape vine. Mr D embraced him and walked him into the Big House. We all sniggered. It was so rare when Mr D showed affection.

Alessandra was trying to waft away a burning bow and arrow that was floating above her head. A child of Apollo. Will and Nico directed her to the infirmary where the other Apolloites were.

Karolina was deep in conversation with Clarrisse Le Rue about the symbol of Ares above her head. Clarrisse then escorted her to the Arena.

Sharon had a rainbow above her that she was trying to smash. Lou Ellen smiled at Sharon before having a gentle chat with her about Iris.

Bea was being embraced by about every member of the Aphrodite cabin. Even Piper seemed to be happy to be a Aphrodite kid. Bea was grinning as they talked about models, clothes and couples. They strolled of to their cabin.

Ruth had the Athena and Poesiden. She had an eyebrow raised at the wave in a circle that was splashing above her head. The wave splashed the owl and of course the owl tried to eat the wave. Chiron led Ruth away. She was a legacy of Poesiden.

Philippa was looking at the Skull, Swords, Owl and Hammer. They were all jostling for space above her head. She rolled her eyes and glanced at me. This is so typical. She seemed really un happy. What? I asked. Hades is my dad. I knew but I didn't know that I was a legacy. I realised something. The swords weren't Ares' symbol it was Belladona. Reyna come over here. Reyna ran up with Lupa by her side. After the 2nd war, the Greek and Roman camps had combined and the Egyptian and Norse sections were being built. You're a Greek and Roman! Philippa nodded glumly. Artum and Argenatam (SP?) came up and locked her face. She looked at Reyna with new light.  You're Praetor! Lupa nodded. Philippa followed Lupa to the Wolf House which had been rebuilt next to the Big House.
