Nullification (Boku no Hero Academia Fanfic)

Prologue

Nullification: the act of nullifying; making null and void; counteracting or overriding the effect or force of something.

That is what her quirk is. And that's what the scientists liked about her. It was hell for this poor girl. Why? It's because of her quirk.

Her name is Five. She is born with the most quirk out of all of them. A quirk known as Nullification. Meaning she can cancel it any quirk with a split second, but it wasn't fun for her. Scientists would often used her for experimental purposes. They even go far as committing illegal crimes not caring about the world thinks. With her quirk, they can get away with anything without those mere heroes interfering because with her, they're unstoppable. Five hated her life here and feels miserable, but that's all going to change when she met one man....

All Might....

For the moment he break those walls in the lab, the young girl didn't expect to remember this unforgettable moment. She watches the muscular hero pummel them one by one without a single scratch on him. Then he approach her and lend her a hand.

"Are you alright miss?" He asked reaching a hand towards the young purple haired girl. The girl stared at his hand for a minute before looking up to the tall muscular man.

"...Why?..." She uttered.

"Hm?" He became confused.

"Why me?..." She asked and the tall hero understood what she said and chortled.

"Because I'm a hero. And heroes save people like you from villains." He replied. She then tilt her head in curiosity.

He..ro?...Save people?....

She pondered at the word "hero". She glance back at the muscular man questioning is trust. She then points her finger at him.

"...Name....your...name...." She spoke as the tall and muscular hero grin at the soft spoken girl.

"I am All Might, yours?" He asked curiously. The quiet purple haired girl shows her number ID to All Might and point her finger on her chest.

"Fi..ve....Five...." She replied pointing her name tag to him. The muscular hero nod and grin as he stand up.

"Well guess what Five. You won't be held prison any longer. You don't deserve to be held captive, you deserve freedom. I know you're wary when I said this, but I have no intention of forcing you to trust me. The main focus here is to get you out of this place and find you a better home with a wonderful family. Will you accept this offer?" He asked lending her a hand. For the first time ever, she felt the pain in her heart has finally lifted and the hope that she thought was worthless has finally answered. Feeling a sense of relief, tears run down to her cheeks and nod.

"Y..Yes...." She respond and took his hand wiping the tears off of her face. The moment when she and All Might stepped out of the hellish lab that she was held captive for 7 years, Five can't help but smiled in relief because her hero have saved her.
