Nia Finds Out

It was finals week and you were locked in your dorm to study for your tests. Lena and Kara wanted to come visit you but you told them to wait until after you finished since you knew they would distract you. They of course tried to deny it but eventually the both of them wished you luck on your tests and left you alone. 

Lena and Kara wanted to do something special for you. You had spent most of your semesters struggling with school work that they wanted to take you on a surprise vacation to help you relax. You were unaware of it because you were still in the middle of your finals week and hadn't talked to them in a while.

"So what are we thinking? Paris? London? She has always wanted to go out of the country."

"Lena, you know she won't let you pay for her trip. It has to be something in the country, preferably somewhere we can drive."

"I guess you are right. Lets see what other things they have."

It was a late night evening at Catco and the only people working in the building was the janitors that were 5 floors down. Lena had nothing to worry about anyone coming in as it was already late at night. So she figured it was okay for her to sit on Kara's lap while the two of the them searched vacation spots in the country. 

Nia had gotten a lead in a new case that had to be dealt with as soon as possible. She knew the janitors would be the only ones in the building so she had nothing to worry about anyone telling her that it was too late for her to coming in for work and that she could have waited.

The elevator arrived on the floor and she immediately noticed that she wasn't alone. She hid from view and began to follow the noise to Lena's office. Her eyes widened when she noticed both Kara and Lena kissing. 

"So we'll head out Friday and then come back Monday so no one notices that we've left together."

"That sounds absolutely perfect, darling. I can't wait to spend some alone time with you. It's been so long since we had a vacation. We should go. It's getting quite late and the janitors should already be getting closer to the top floor."

Lena stood up and held out her hand for Kara too lead her back to the elevator. Nia panicked as she saw them making their way back to the elevators and hid under the desks while she watched them whisper in each others ear. Eventually, the doors closed and she was able to climb out from under the desk.

She wanted to so desperately tell someone what she saw but it seemed like the two definitely wanted to keep the relationship a secret so it would just have to wait until they came out to their friends. 

Lena stepped out of the elevator and frowned when she realized something strange. The elevator that she had used, was being used by the janitors so they would have been stationed at another floor, not the one they were in. Someone must have gotten to the top floor.

"I'm sorry, Kara. I forgot something in the office. Wait for me by the car and I'll be right back."

Kara noticed something was off.

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No. That's okay. I won't take long."

Lena, climbed back on the elevator and pressed the button to the top floor. She climbed off and immediately heard the familiar noises of a keyboard. She followed the noise and stopped to find Nia. Crossing her arms, and clearing her throat, she waited for the other woman to turn around.

"I know you saw something. So spill it."

A pissed off Lena was not someone you wanted to deal with so she quickly spilled.

"I just saw you and Kara kissing. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to see but there was noises in the floor that no one was suppose to be on and I got curious."

Lena sighed and ran her fingers through her hair.

"I promise I won't tell anybody. The two of you are my best friends. I don't want to hurt neither of you."

"I know, Nia. I can trust you. Just don't tell anybody."

Nia crossed her heart and zipped up her lips, making Lena smile at her actions. Lena thanked her again and headed back down to meet Kara at the car.

"So apparently Nia, knows about us."

Lena had said it so casually that it took a while for her to respond.

"Oh no. We really suck at keeping secrets don't we?"

"We really do. (Y/n), is really going to have the time of her life with this one."

You couldn't stop laughing when you heard what had happened. It was nice not being the one getting caught for a change
