Sam's Weird Nightmare

Luke's POV

I am currently heading to Clare's house, when I came close, I saw them outside, it seems unusual to me, Anna and Sam are no where to be found, they aren't with me right now too, Clare didnt seem annoyed from my lateness, plus, Jay and Max are with her, they are usualy at the room already blasting some music in the room or doing something unusual, but no, they are with Clare, quiet, peaceful, and they look emotionless! It is very weird, considering the fact that the atmosphere was different yesterday after knowing what Anna found, I feel like I should have done SOMETHING, I feel so worried about Anna and Sam, I'm worried about everyone, including myself!

I approached them and said "Hey guys!" Hoping that they'll stop acting weird, but they didnt even move nor look at me! Not even a short glance! 'How rude' I thought to myself. I opened my mouth again and said "Uhm... Max? Jay? Clare?" Having my hopes up again, and to my surprise, Clare suddenly spoke up and said "Oh! Sorry, I was just thinking..." she said with shame in her voice for not even noticing me nor my presence. "It's okay, but where's Anna and Sam?" I asked sounding worried, well, maybe because I am. "Oh... Anna's taking care of Sam" Jay spoke up before a word can even escape Clare's mouth which causes her to puff her cheeks. I got confused on why Anna is taking care of Sam, maybe she can be alittle clumsy but she can manage herself, so why have to take care of her.

"Why?"

"Anna said Sam called her in the middle of the night, saying that she had a weird nightmare." Max replied making me feel worried and confused at the same time. "But why only Anna?" I asked hoping that someone knew why Anna was the only one Sam asked to be with her. "That's what I've been wondering, why only Anna?" To my disappoint, I sigh. "Maybe we should investigate that" Max said that made me question his idea, I mean, does he not trust his friends? I was about to say that I do not approve with it, like it or not but Jay spoke up first saying "Doesn't that harm our friendship?" I was again about to speak up but someone said something first, AGAIN. "You have a point Jay, lets just 'investigate' when they dont appear for a long time, maybe after three weeks?" Clare said, right after she said that, me, Jay, and Max look at each other and said "Okie" in unison.

Time skip
A week and a half later

Third Person POV

"I'm starting to worry" Clare said while looking up to the sky. Luke was leaning against a tree, waiting impatiently and worriedly, his foot tapping the ground fast. While Jay and Max are trying to cheer her up. "Well, they-" Luke said but ended up getting cut off. "Guys! We're back!" Someone yelled which caught everyone's attention, the voice belonged to a girl who sounded sweet and fun, just like their friend Anna does. Every body looked at the direction from where the voice came from. Their eyes met two girls, one with a chocolate brown, long curly hair, while the other has a raven black, up to her shoulders, and straight hair. They looked familiar, they couldnt identify the faces until they finaly got a little closer to them, they were actualy their friends, once they saw them the quickly ran to them to give them a thight hug. They got into a hug that lasted about two minutes, when they let go, they went in the house, they quickly let them inside to sit down. Jay then spoke up in a serious tone, "Sam still looks quite weak, why are you two here already?" He said, and Sam quickly replied, "I'm sorry, I just got so bored laying down at the bed, so I convinced Anna to let us go here, thankfuly, she said yes!" She said the last part with a (^-^) face, you can tell that she was happy she can finaly get out of her apartment, like a bird when they get out of their cage. "Understandable" Luke said understanding Sam's situation of laying in the bed for nearly two weeks.

"But do you think you can tell us about that weird nightmare you had?" Max said, who is most likely to be very curious about the dream. When Sam heard that, she immedietly looked at Anna if she should, she patiently waited for a sign if she should say about her dream or not, Anna noded as a sign to tell the others.

"Sure, it can be useful."

Sam said, but she looked unsure if she should really tell the others. Every one sat themselves at the floor so it leaves Sam the only one sitting at the couch. "....So...." Sam started explaining and everyone was eyeing on her, Sam noticed and sighed, she then started to continue again.

"I dreamt of myself, I died because of a fever, Clare was in a coma for whatever reason, Anna got into a hit and run, while Luke, Jay, and Max were fighting each other, until Max knocked Luke out unconcious, so Jay got furious, he grabbed a knife while being controled by his emotions and stabbed Max, when they got to the hospital, Max was declared to be dead on arrival, when Jay heard about this, he felt really depressed and commits suicide, Luke woke up in the hospital next to Clare, Clare woke up after a while, a doctor tells them what happened. But knowing that rest of us are dead was too much for a girl who just woke up from a coma, Clare and Luke were both in tears due to what the doctor said, when she and Luke got discharged of the hospital, she packed her stuff and went to America. It left Luke all alone.... Then I woke up" she was saying it all in a fast but it was unexpectedly clear. Sam was actualy holding back her tears and trying to blink them away the whole time while looking down to her hands that were balled to fists and are shaking rapidly, but at the same time she didnt notice her tears falling down her cheeks. Everyone was worried and scared at the same time, worried and scared of the future, so many questions were crosing their minds; Is it true? What if her dreams were true? Is there a reason for her to have such a strange dream? It is fake right? But we arent sure about that, there are also dreams that come true, right? etc. They snap out of their thoughts when they notice Sam holding up her head with one hand and the other is trying to keep her from falling. Clare stood up from her seat and asked "Whats wrong sweety?" With a calming and sweet voice, Sam looked at Clare with glossy eyes and tears threatening to come out at any moment. When Clare saw those eyes, it immedietly broke her heart, but the worse thing happened, Sam fainted, lucky enough, Clare was right there beside her, so she caught her. But, what broke Clare's heart the most was when she touched Sam when she catched her, it was burning hot.
