Michael decided to get to school a little earlier than usual just because he bought us breakfast and wanted to have some time to eat before class started. I'm really not sure how I ended up going to Jefferson High School knowing it was an expensive school but somehow I got an invite to attend and I happily accepted. Knowing my life, I wanted to make something better for myself and give myself the best education that I possibly can.

It was 7:30 and the sun was just starting to rise as we arrived at school. I already finished my sandwich on the way but knowing me, Michael bought me a muffin too. We got out of the car and spotted a table outside of the entrance of the school and sat down and ate.

A few minutes later, a group of girls arrived and walked past the table. One girl, who was a tall blonde haired wearing an expensive dress and handbag gave Michael a dirty look.
He was a popular guy so surely enough any girl would be jealous of seeing him with a girl that isn't themselves.

"She seems happy today." I said as a took a sip of my orange juice.

"You know it's Beth she's always like that." Michael said as he tangled his fingers into mine.

Bethany Arden, cheer captain, straight A student, daddy's girl. Also known as Michael's ex girlfriend. She's always been rude to me for whatever reason ever since freshman year. Probably because she was the upperclassmen.

We finally finished all of our food and walked inside the school. Ever since Michael and Beth broke up, no one really thought that he would be with someone else. They were incredibly close until a month later.
Me and Michael walked hand and hand as we signed for our lockers which were next to each other in a secluded area where there wouldn't be so many people around. It tends to get pretty loud and crowded.

Everyone were staring at us, mostly me. No one ever thought in a million years that Michael Andrews would be with me. I was one of the few students who were invited to the school. Who didn't have the money to just go.

"I can't believe he's actually with her. When did this even happen??" Beth said as she rustled through her locker.
"I'm not sure. I heard it was two months ago. I don't know where they even met though." Sam said as she opened her locker. She was one of Beth's best friends.
"Do you think she's met Danielle?" Anna looked at Beth with concern. Anna didn't really know Beth but only knew her because of Sam.
"As if he would ever let her near my child." Beth slammed her locker and walked away as the two girls followed behind.

Danielle was Beth and Michael's 2 year old daughter. Beth got pregnant a month after their one year and she seemed excited about having the child and of course Michael was too but soon before the baby was born, Beth didn't want anything to do with her. Leaving Danielle all to Michael.
