Part 9
It is already one week Arnav left for Paris. Nani still didn't return from Kanpur. Anjali is busy with college. Akash too is busy as Arnav is not present.
Sheetal and Aarav are still in house. Dadi is pampering them more. Mami is not liking Sheetal still living in the house. She is thinking to talk with Anjali about sending them away.
On the other hand, Khushi is more frustrated. Dadi is making her serve Sheetal and Aarav always. She always compares Arnav and Aarav indicating Aarav is son of Arnav. She also compares Sheetal and Khushi. She comments that Sheetal deserves Arnav more than Khushi who is a middle class girl. These days even Sheetal too mocks and orders Khushi whenever she gets a chance. Even Aarav too shouts and orders her infront of Dadi.
But these trio makes sure they mock or order Khushi only when she is alone. Since only Mami and Payal are present in the home, Khushi is found alone most of the time. In front of family, they behave nicely with Khushi which didn't go unnoticed by Khushi too.
Khushi has enough of this.. She is just enduring Sheetal and Aarav for Dadi's sake. Now she had enough of Dadi too. She is just waiting for Arnav so that she would ask him to kick out both mother and son out of the house.
At One night:
Akash came out of the Study room to go his room when he found Dadi going towards Arshi's room.
Khushi was putting Aashi to sleep when the door was knocked. She looked at the door which is open only to find Dadi standing there.
Khushi went near Dadi as she won't step in the room.
"I want Arnav's Paris number" said Dadi.
"Why Dadi ?" asked Khushi.
"I want to talk with my grandson. I have some work with him. Should I take your permission to talk with him ?"asked Dadi rudely.
"Dadi"Akash came there.
"What do you want to talk with Bhai Dadi ?"asked Akash.
"I have some work with him Akash" said Dadi.
"What work is it ? Say me, I will do it" said Akash.
Dadi turned her face to other side indicating she is not in the favor of Akash's idea.
Akash sighed, " I will give Bhai's number Dadi. Come with me"
Dadi followed Akash giving a glance to Khushi.
Akash stopped at Dadi's room. He looked at Khushi's room once and when he found that she locked the door, he sighed in relief.
"What is the work with Bhai Dadi ?"asked Akash.
"I have some work Akash" said Dadi irritated for again asking about the work.
"Dadi. Let me say you the truth. Bhai is not feeling well from the past two days. The temperature change in Paris affected him and he is suffering with fever from past two days. Today even his sugar levels have dropped and he fainted in meeting. He was joined in hospital" said Akash.
Dadi was shocked hearing it
"How is Chote now ?"asked Dadi with worried tone.
"He is fine now. Doctors have given him drips and he is recovering. I have personally talked with the doctor who treated Bhai and he said there is nothing to worry. Bhai will be discharged tomorrow. So, please now say what is the work with Bhai ? I will do it. It's not good to stress him at this stage" said Akash.
