(Edited chapter)
Sometimes, things are painful.
But, who cares? It's not like anyone really cares about me anyway. I'll fight back and I'll win. They have no idea how much I truly want to be them, so I have to beat them.~Two hours later~
Rolling down the street on my skateboard, I roll past an alley. A glimpse of red catches my eye, and I stop. I quickly approach the man, and he turns to me. Grimacing, he tries to pick himself up. It doesn't work, so I help him up slowly. Laying him against the wall, he thanks me. He tells me to leave him there, but I refuse. I grab his arms, and throw them over my shoulder. We walk down the street near the hospital, and I take him to the ER. I get him all signed in, and he has fainted by this point. I wait four hours to hear news back about the man, and they come to tell me he's stable. I quickly take my leave, and begin walking home.
I silently open the door, and Merik stood at the entrance with his shoes on. He doesn't even spare me a glance, but I glared daggers into him. He didn't seem to notice, but Hunter did. "What the fuck are you looking at, pipsqueak?!" He shouts. I glare at him too, and flip him off. They look at me shocked, and Hunter comes barreling towards me with his fist out. Merik catches his fist, and Hunter looks confused. "What the hell, Mer?!" He asks, looking confused. "We don't need mom and dad to see you do that. We're the good kids, remember?" It seemed like they were speaking in code, but I keep running towards my room. I lock it, and cry my eyes out.
I've had enough with everyone. Every single person in my life has dissed me. My family never even loved me. My brothers exclude me from everything. I sobbed as loudly as I wanted, screaming like no tomorrow.
Hunter's POV:
I walk down to the basement, I slowly went up to the door, and heard sniffling. Me and Merik started pounding on his door. "Hey, open up," I huff. I groan, and pound on the door even harder. "Open up, fucker!" He bangs back, but doesn't make any other noise than that.
"Nico? Open the fuck up Nico. NICO!" I continuously pounded on the door, eventually breaking it. The tiny window was opened, and his room was messy. I quickly ran over to the window, and spotted him running off.
"Little bitch," Merik curses. I slap Merik's chest, and he shoves me down. "Jessie's coming over tonight, so don't blow cover. Little brother," he says while kissing my cheek. I shove his chest, and laugh a little.
???? POV:
Why is it so dark..? What the fuck happened to me?! Wait, I think it was that kid. He saved me, I think. I gotta thank him later.
"Mister Myres, sir?" A woman's voice? I slowly open my eyes, and I see a woman in a bright white uniform looking down at me. "Hello?" I groan. She smiles, looking relieved. "Sir, you've been a sleep for a few days. A young man has been coming by since you arrived. In fact, he just went dow to the cafe to grab something for himself," she thought aloud. "He should be back shortly thought," she mumbled. "Alright, well I'll be back to take some vitals," she bowed.
The woman left, and the boy stumbled in the door. "O-Oh! S-sorry, sir," he stutters quickly. "Did you bring me here, son?" His eyes hold panic, but nods quickly. "Thank you," I smile. He blushes a little, but smiles. I look around, and see a few duffel bags of his, looking like most of his belongings. "Don't you go home, kid?" I chuckle. His face goes pale, and he slowly shakes his head. "Do I need to call your parents?" I scold. Tears fill his eyes, and quickly shakes his head again. "..you okay?" I ask, and tears begin to fall onto his cheeks. "Oh, no. No. No. No. No. No," I groan. Opening my arms, he jumps into my chest. He sobs loudly, and I pat his head. "You're okay, you're okay," I soothe.
Shit, this kid is all over the place.
