Steve's POV:

It was just any other day at Scoops Ahoy, and both, me and robin had to give Erica Sinclair her samples. Every. Single. Day. But today. I felt like today was gonna be different. Yeah, I know Erica is gonna be like "wHeReS mY sAmPlEs"?! But something about today makes me think otherwise. But one girl caught my eye. It was y/n. I knew her since 3rd grade, we were best friends. She came to scoops!! I tell robin about y/n all the time. Oops. Anyways she asks for f/I/f/ (favorite ice cream flavor) and I say "okay"!
"Hey y/n"?
"Yeah"?
"Do you want to uh, maybe, hang out or something? Like out at a movie"?
"Are you asking me out on a date, Harrington"?
Then my heart dropped.
"Uh...Maybe"?
"Pick me up at 7:00"?
"It's a date".
"Here's your ice cream!"
"Thanks Harrington"
Now that was the best night of my entire life.
