Dean picked up a singed photo from the ashes of the house he had visited less than a few hours ago. He sighed and ran his hand over his face. The young girl in the photo smiled up at him until the wind whisked her out of his hands and into the sky.

*a few hours earlier*

Sam and Dean were driving through town on their way to Jody and Bobby when they screeched to a stop.
"Stop!" A little girl no more than seven had run out in front of the car and screamed. Dean slammed the brakes and stopped just a few inches away from her. Dean stomped out of his car an made his way over to her. She was brunette, her wispy har in ponytails. Her t-shirt was bright blue and was tucked into her jean shorts.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, running out in front of my car like that?" Dean asked her, looking her over for any injuries.
"Promise you won't get mad or kill me?" she asked, a serious look in her young face. Dean was shocked. Sam had gotten out at this point and jogged over to where they were.
"Dean we don't have time for this, Bobby is waiting-"
"At Sioux Falls General Hospital with Sheriff Jody Mills who went in for an appendectomy and is being held there by leviathans who the angel Castiel released from Purgatory on his quest to become God. Oh wait, did that already pass? Oh right you're going back to Bobby's now."
Silence. Stunned silence. Dean and Sam looked at each other and then back to the girl.
"Hi I'm Quinn Perkins, witch and oracle. You're Sam and Dean Winchester. My dad hunted with your dad, I think. You don't have to kill me, I won't hurt you or recommend that you try really."
"Okay Sabrina, first of all we don't have time for this, and second of all-"
"Oh my parents died a few hours ago. It doesn't matter, right now we need to go or Bobby will become lunch meat." With that, she walked past the two stunned men and opened the back door to the Impala and hopped in, closing the door behind her.
"Well, who are we to argue with the little girl." Dean gave Sam a look and hopped into the car.

As they were about to turn the corner, Quinn tapped Sam on the shoulder rapidly.
"Sam Sam Sam! I think you should know that they man who burned Bobby's house is the leviathan that looks like a hispanic man. He's a meanie." Dean slammed the breaks and parked the car, running out of the Impala and towards the smoky remains of Bobby's home.
"Bobby! Bobby are you in there? Bobby!" Sam ran after him, but he turned around and looked at Quinn.
"Lock the doors and stay down, cover yourself with this blanket until we come back." With that he bolted after Dean and towards the house. Quinn huffed and took the blanket and covered herself with it. There was no need to get on the floor. She would be in the ambulance with a blanket on her later anyways.
She sat there in silence, humming to herself. Waiting. That's what she had done for the past seven years of her life anyways. She had always been able to see the future, but not this far ahead. When she was six years old, she started to notice her abilities more, not just her powers as the Oracle, but as a Witch as well. She could move objects with her mind and make people do things if she wanted. Her mother had found out, and being a witch herself had been terrified. She herself wasn't a natural witch, she had been a student of the three-faced witch Hecate herself. She had known that when her child came into her power, her powers would start to dwindle. Her father, Joshua Perkins, was a hunter, a PTSD ridden paranoid hunter. He got drunk too many times to count and hit them constantly. All of this made her mother break, and so she started to plot against little Quinn, planning to kill her and consume her youth. Her father had begun to realize that she was not normal as well, and she once got stabbed in the hand with a silver dagger. Hurt like a bitch and left a nasty scar. So the leviathan killing her parents had been perfect timing really. It had saved her life, while simultaneously trying to end it.
The distant sound of Dean shouting Sam's name signaled to Quinn that it was time to move. She sprinted towards the car yard and ran up to Dean, taking the phone out of his shaking hand and dialing 911.
"Stay down, you're hurt too. Don't worry, it isn't Sam's time yet. His brain has finally faced the physical consequences of spending all that time in Hell- yes operator, my older brothers got hurt in the car yard looking for our uncle after the fire, we need an ambulance now! I think one of them has a broken leg and the other's brain is bleeding! Hurry! The address is ......" She went on, playing the hysterical little girl part perfectly. Dean had to admit, the child impressed him. Maybe reminded him of Lilith a bit, but not too much. She hung up the phone and looked to her left, smiling and giving a short wave to nobody.
"Hiya Billie. Tough getting assigned these two knuckleheads, huh? You're in for a promotion soon enough, hang in there champ." He looked at her utterly confused as she placed her fingers onto Sam's temples and whispered under her breath. She continued like this until paramedics loaded them onto an ambulance.
"Don't worry Dean. He'll live, but you need to remain calm for this next bit. It's crucial for how this turns out." She grabbed his hand hand gave it a soft pat, not really helping his hyperventilating. "Trust me."
