Liy coughed trying to break the silence. Pie spoke up.

"Well okay.
Hopefully Four doesn't 'collect' you too violently."
Pie scooched over for her friend.
Realizing she didn't have a pillow to sleep on, Pie took one of her pillows from under the other as she slept on two.
It's probably bad for her posture. 

"Oh Pie, you don't have to." She felt a little bad, considering she knew Pie liked to be very comfortable, it was the only thing Liy knew she was picky about.She'll never understand how Pie can be so easy going, she envied that about her.

"I don't mind, it's only a night, besides Tree keeps bugging me about it."

Tree was concerned with everybody and liked to make sure everyone was at least comfortable in their rooms.
Pillow and Bottle even share rooms because Tree didn't want Bottle getting scared of being alone, even though Pillow is one of the worst people to be with if you tend to get scared. 

"Well, okay...if you say so" She ploped her head onto the pillow, it smelled nice, because usually Pie smelled nice- okay wait that's creepy stop thinking about that. Stop thinking about how nice Pie was to you, stop thinking about how she smells nice stop thinking that-

"Goodnight, Liy."
Pie smiled at her and Liy watched her close her eyes to drift to sleep.
Liy's face flushed red and she was just there watching Pie's steady breathing, and eventually calmed herself to where they were both in sync.  

"P...Pie?" Liy hesitantly spoke.
Pie was fast asleep, she didn't respond. Liy did the only logical thing she could think of to do, she gently held Pie's hand, hoping not to wake her up.
"W...wuh?" Pie woke up again confused, apparently unknown to Liy, Pie was a very light sleeper.

"Liy, if you want to hold my hand you can"
 Liy softly exhaled nodding a bit.
Gladly Pie was so easy going that she didn't think much about Liy holding her hand, she probably assumed that she was scared?

She wondered if she should confess to Pie how she feels...what would Pie even say?
'Sorry, I don't feel the same'?
'actually I'm already going out with Bottle.'?
The thought of Pie being with someone else made her sad, she didn't like that thought.

 Pie was asleep again.
Maybe she shouldn't, she wasn't scared or anything!
Pfft it was everything but that! She just, didn't want Pie to think of her as anything different. However... she is going back to EXIT tomorrow, or well, judging by the clock technically today. But that's besides the point.

There's nothing bad that's going to happen between her and Pie if she's just gonna be gone the next day so why the heck not!?
She nudged Pie to wake her up. 

"Hey, Pie. Psst."

She tried to get her attention, whispering.
Pie's eyes fluttered open a bit, she rubbed them to get used to the rooms lighting again.
She saw Liy still awake, she assumed that only a few minutes had gone by before Liy decided to wake he up for the third time in a row.

"What is it Liy? I'm really trying to get to sleep here."
She placed her finger to Pie's lips to shush her, Pie was a little shocked but let Liy speak.
She sat up, Pie soon followed.
She nervously twiddled her fingers trying to work up that same courage she had in her mind, that nothing bad was going to happen.
Even if it did, she would just go right back to EXIT.

"Pie, I want to kiss you."

Well...that was more forward than intended.
Pie looked at Liy, speechless.
Only making slight stutters as her face flushed bright red.
"Wh...I..." Liy was starting to panic, she probably caught Pie off guard.
Well I mean of course she would, nobody just goes in THAT‌ direct.
"Well Pie– that- came out all wrong. It-"
Pie placed her hand into Liy's.

"Okay."
 That was all she said and stared at Liy, like she was expecting something. 

Did...did she want Liy to seriously kiss her?!
Well, then, she'd better do it.
Liy blinked for a few seconds and shyly moved in for it.
Pie was tired of waiting and pushed her lips to Liy's and they...they kissed.
It was over before it started but God, did it feel like a million years to her.

"Okay," Pie began to lay down again.
"goodnight Liy." She closed her eyes again and held Pie's hand. 

"I...I" Liy had zero words for what just happend, but will cherish that moment forever.
 She was laying down, but, before she drifted off to sleep cuddled up to Pie.
They both fell asleep in eachothers arms.
The next day, Liy was taken back to EXIT, saying goodbye to Pie and the rest of her team, Bottle cried.

She sat in her assigned desk and felt something in her pocket, it was a piece of paper, she took it out, it was the photo from the box she had. She looked at it and smiled remembering that moment last night.
