i didn't mention this in my introduction but i work. surprise surprise. i work at my aunts restaurant as a waitress, it's a vegetarian restaurant. i know i kinda didn't write in this as often as i should but i guess with the thought of school coming soon i got overwhelmed and wanted to enjoy my last month as much as i could. there's a lot to tell. i know this won't get famous or anything but it's nice to write stuff down, it helps me.
anyways, back to the whole work thing, i fucking hate it... yeah, i won't lie i hate it. i learned the value of money before working but when i tell you, my aunts chill most of the time but my uncle? this mans crazy. i know you get yelled at and everything but damn i just recently started this summer and i'm new, you don't have to yell at me for things i didn't know about.. but besides that i wanted to mention something i found kinda cute.
so basicallyyy one night while i was working one night, this young asian pregnant lady came in with her husband ( i'll guess he's european) and her side of the family. they all spoke fluent english. ( it's really random to mention but it's not really common here for elderly asians to speak fluent english ) i was their main server and did my job with a smile and they were the sweetest family. her dad n mom were the sweetest too. after when they were about to leave and i came to take dishes and clean the table, she mentioned to me that she thought i was really sweet and for me to stay sweet. i don't know why but that melted my heart since i had such a bad day at work, her dad told me that she kept mentioning that i was cute n kind and that really made me smile. we had a small talk which just consisted of them asking me how old i was n i told them i'm 14 turning 15 n she said "awh well stay sweet when u grow up, you're so kind" i know it's not a long but that really made my night. i still think about it til today, there's some really good people left in this world and i pray that everything goes well for her and her soon to be newborn baby:(
