Chaper IV

"Um, Tane, I think we are being..."

"Watched? Yeah. I know." he turns his head to the left where Reid is standing on the other side of the glass double doors of the school.

"I told him I needed to get home," I pause, "yet here I am displaying affection to you in no hurry to get home." I feel kind of guilty that I lied to Reid.

Reid has had some sort of obsession towards me for quite some time now, and I don't know what to do. I push away when he compliments or flirts with me, and he knows Tane and I are together and have been together for almost six months.

I try not to make eye contact with Reid, but I can feel his eyes burning into the back of my skull and its making me uncomfortable.

"Baby, I should get going." I say with unease.

"But Izza...." He sounds like a whimpering toddler that heard it was bedtime.

I get up on my tiptoes and I whisper in Tane's ear,

"Meet me at my house in two hours, I have to show you something."

I can immediately see a glint of curiosity in his mocha brown eyes, and he smiles lightly and kisses me gently on the lips.

"Okay, love you." He turns and strides towards his little silver car. I watch him walk away for a second or two while I stand there on the curb in the school parking lot.

I can't help but smile. He makes me happy, it has been the happiest half year I've had with him. I love Tane.

As I am motionless on the curb, I forgot I was being watched until I look up to see the silouhette of Reid. He is still there! A muscle in his body probably has not moved, his posture is the same, and the outline of his body remains how it was a few moments ago.

Shocked, I suck in a quick breath and hurry to my car with no intentions to confront him about the fact he just stalked me and my boyfriend.
