How Broadway became my Home ( Aaron Warren book 7)

Chapter 461

Cam woke up to get ready for school. We followed suit quickly behind him. I went into the other kitchen to brew some coffee for my fiancé to drink, took out a mug to put it on the counter, and start cooking breakfast for me. Annie walks in next greeting them. She pivots to mix her coffee. They  replied to her " Morning Anna and kiddo."

Our brother walks in last that morning. He greeted everyone while kissing the girls. Minutes after that the remaining grown-ups have their coffee. Blue Eyes me his usual way. He mixes my hot chocolate to hand it to me. Kristy pours out her drink to put back the carton in our fridge.

Breakfast is promptly served at 7:45 am. Everyone else sat down around the tables dishing out our food to eat. Our usual drinks are coffee, hot chocolate, and juice. We ate together like one big almost complete happy family. Soon after eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.

The group grabbed our stuff while exchanging goodbyes to each other. A good percentage of us head to the subway station to catch one for school or work. Lori is currently sitting by her window reading the newspapers. As for Sam picked her partner up in the cruiser for work. Minutes after that they drove to their police station.

I arrived at Delightful Desserts to greet everyone, put down my stuff in the lounge, and sign in. Minutes after that I am finally behind our counter preparing Blaine's usual breakfast order for them. Our loyal customers are patiently waiting in our long line. I put their order on the far end of our counter. My coworkers are now making tons of brand new orders.

Blaine shows up that morning. They always greeted and talked to him. Everyone else in front of him left for work. Seconds later it's now his turn in our line. He picked up their order, paid for it, and greeted " Good morning T." Both of us stood in our corner talking to each other. I returned his greeting. Our friend leans in closer to give me a goodbye kiss.

Soon after that, he walks all the way down to their theater for work. He waits on the sidewalk with hands. Many of their costars helped him open both sets doors. All of them walked down the aisle together. Glee stopped just before the stage stairs. Our guys greeted each other with a man hug then sat in the pits to eat breakfast. Both of them threw away their trash away in the bins.

Blaine and company went into wardrobe, hair, and make up to get ready for the show. Meanwhile back over at the bakery where I am now bussing some dirty tables. Over at the theater, it's cast is now ready. House lights are dimmed now. The show begins exactly at 9:15 am when the curtain rose.

Intermission time is a fifteen-minute break. The audience went into the lobby to use the bathroom and get refills for their refreshments. As for the cast is getting touch-ups on their make up. Seconds later they are now resettled in their seats. Catch Me If You Can round two begins now. It went by a whole lot faster.

Curtain call came around for that show. It's cast took their bows to get applause. The audience threw away their trash in the bins. Costumes are put back on the racks. As for the cast strikes their workstation. Everyone hangs out backstage together.

They always started it every day. Everyone else took an hour break for it. Lunchtime quickly approaches at 12:00 pm. During this time we ate and relaxed together as a group.  I got up to throw away my trash in the bin and washed my hands.

Our group and all of our coworkers or classmates joined this routine. We returned to our workstations that afternoon. I am in our back kitchen washing dishes. Our guys and company are running through their lines. They staged it for the next couple of hours.

Before you know it 2:30 pm is finally here which means it's time for me to go home. I went into our lounge to sign out, gather my stuff, and mentioned goodbyes to the entire bakery. On my way down to the subway station enjoyed my walk. The birds were singing in their treetop. Later on,  I boarded it to sit down and text.

Texting

Cam: Hey T 

Me: Hey Cam

Cam: How are you?

Me: good and you

Cam: fine thanks

Me: I miss you

Cam: Same here

Me:  Bye

Cam: love you

People entered and exited the subway at their stops. The news tinker blinked soon with new information for us.   All the subways have maps in it of the city.    Every subway is full of bodies both sitting down or standing up holding onto the rail. Later on, it pulls into the station that afternoon.  I walked over to the condo.

Upon my arrival went inside. Condo sweet condo finally home from work. I turned on the lights and put down my keys. Minutes after that I  did the same thing with stuff. I took a quick bath to change. Kitchen bound for me again this time alone.

 I cooked dinner at his stove.   As for most of our group got home at the same exact time. My siblings greeted them in unison " Good  evening family."  Kristy and my parents replied to them in unison " Evening guys and kiddos. On the way out of the kitchen, they put down their keys on the mail table.

They head to the showers. I took out the place settings to put them on the island. My siblings are in the room again. Ella sets our kitchen table with help from my sister. As for Chad took out both the drinks and ice. The kitchens are smelling really good right now. Our meals are in their final minutes on the stoves.

Dinner is promptly served at 6:00 pm. Everyone else sat down around the table dishing out their food to eat.  Usually, during mealtime, all of those who were out that day exchanged how our days were at either school or work.  We ate together like one big almost complete happy family.  After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.  

The girls and I  stayed in the kitchen to wash the dishes and clean it up. Meanwhile in the family rooms with both sets of dads, mom, and the guys watching tv. Everything is put back in its regulars places. All the kitchen lights are turned off. We joined everyone else on the couches so it's now full.    

Family time continues in front of the tv. We shared tv shows with the group. Kristy walks over to the rooms to change into her jammies. Both of us brushed our teeth.  Later on, we returned to our couches. I am nice and comfy. 

My siblings got her to watch a few more shows before bedtime.  She mentioned goodnights to them with hugs and kisses. "Night Kris and kiddo," they answered her. Seconds later they walked as she  walked away and waited for the door to shut. All of us focused on the tv screens.

Across town at the theater where our guys are now finished for that day.  They grabbed their belonging while exchanging goodbyes to each other. Each member of that group took a short ride. It was very  relaxing for them. All of them walked to their apartment or condo.

Moment after that they arrived home from work.  Everyone else in that group found something to eat. Blue Eyes on the other hand took out the doggy bag  that I gave him the night before. As for my fiancé is eating on the couch. I spent a little time with him.

All the tv sets and family room lights are turned off. The group took their bath to get ready for bed. My siblings just changed into jammies. I have been in our bed for the last fifteen with Junior. Soon after that Mr. Warren, Mrs. Warren,  Jon, and the group say goodnights to each  other. Everyone else joins me soon in dreamland that night.
