College had officially began for Alex and it definitely was starting to take its tole on her relationship already. She hadn't even been gone forty-eight hours when Rosalind flew off the handle about their communication. Alex tried so hard to keep her line of communication as open as possible but every attempt she made failed. Nothing seemed to satisfy Rosalind's needs or expectations. This not only drove them to have a massive argument all communication ceased causing their relationship to take a major turn.

Nothing seemed to be able to break the silence. Days went on of just pure tension when finally Alex took it upon herself to verbalize her emotions. When she did this she was able to get her point across and allow Rosalind to feel the anger and the hurt that she was feeling. Little did Alex know that Rosalind's anger and guilt was being taken out in a different way. Alex quickly became aware of Rosalind's choices to harm herself and it drove her to become emotionally unstable causing her to fall into depression.
