After the night shift, Brandon took the chance to ask Mace out on a night walk, but it turned out to be an adventure.
With her by his side, he cannot think straight. They're finally together.
Brandon watched as the sunrise slowly, inch by inch, filled her face, and he could not take his eyes off of her. He would not allow himself to look away. He was stunned at the magic in front of his eyes.
And he felt a little breathless when she turned to hold his gaze.
"What's wrong?" Mace asked.
"Nothing," he replied, "I just happened to realize something."
"What is it?"
"You see, I was never one for magic. I never believed in it."
"But now," he continued,
"I have become a fool for it, I now truly believe in it."
