Chapter 12

In the parking lot my mom asked, "do you want to ride with me or James and his aunt?" I chose to ride with James and his Aunt so we could choose baby names. in the car we came up with a lot of baby names. "I like Sue, Anna, Lilly, Abby, Shelby, and Amanda." James said. "well I like Kate, Dede, Leah, and Michelle." I said. when we were about to go pass my house I yelled, "STOP THE CAR!"the car stopped and James asked where i was going. "The doctor told my mom the due date and I want to know. are you coming or not?" I said. "I'm coming!" James said. I got out of the car and ran towards the door. I was about to trip but James got to me just before I hit the ground and he scooped me into his arms. we got to the door and knocked. my mom opened the door and said, "I know why your here. you want to know the due date huh?" she said. we nodded. "3 weeks." she said. we both smiled and I hugged James's neck. "mom?" I said. "yes sweetie?" my mom asked. "one, don't call me sweetie and two, will you be there when I give bir...bir..." I puked all over the ground. "as I was trying to say, will you be there when I give birth?" I finished. "of course!" my mom said. "we have to go." James said. "yeah we have to study for the test tomorrow." I said. "go. have fun ' studying ' " she said. "thanks?" James said. and he carried me to the car.
