I sat at my desk and played with my pencil aimlessly, nothing was happening or I didn't care if anything was happening. I didn't give a shit about how to properly use nouns, I look down when I saw something on my desk. I tilt my head and pick up the piece of crumpled up paper, I smile softly as I read it 'bitch you better pay attention cause a test is coming up.' I roll my eyes, I knew that Cara wrote this. I flip the paper over and write 'I don't care' before I toss it back over to her. I hear Cara snort "is something funny Cara?" the teacher asks and looks over at her. She hides the piece of paper "it's nothing" she says, the teacher hums response and goes back to teaching. I look over at her and smirk, she flips me off before writing down something. She hands it to me 'are you trying to get me in trouble?', I roll my eyes again 'what's up your ass' I write and throw it back over to her. She shrugs "miss do we need to learn this?" Cara asks and tilts her head. "This is engl-" "yeah this is fucking hell" I say and lean back in my seat, I don't know why I was cocky but I was. She teacher looks over at me i shock "Elise" she scolds, "I'm a bad bitch you can't put me down" I say. "Fucking nice one" Cara says and high fives me, I laugh and the teacher sighs "you two are causing a distraction, go to detention" she says. "Nice" we both say and get up, walking out of the room. "You know for a second I thought you actually were paying attention" I sat to Cara as we walk down the hallway, she snorts "no way in hell" she mumbles.
