"So.. Will you?" Caleb asks you. You sit in awe, of how everything was set up. "This was all just to.. ask me out?" you reply. Caleb nods, and you jump up and hug him tight.
"Of course I will!" You say, still hugging him, and with tears in your eyes. Caleb picks up up, and holds you. You wrap your legs around him and you both stand there for a minute or two before he puts you down and kisses you! You blush hard and kiss him back. He begins blushing as well. You pull away and look into his beautiful, sparkling eyes. "Caleb I.. I've been lying to you.." you say, looking down at the ground. "What do you mean?" he replies, looking confused. "I don't like you anymore.." Caleb drops the signs, he smile fades into a frown, and tears begin to fill his eyes. "But if you don't.. then why'd you kiss me back?. Why'd you say yes?.." He asks, with a shaky voice. "Because.. I don't like you, I love you Caleb!" you reply, smiling. "I.. I love you too (y/n)!" He says, tearing running down his red cheeks.
"I need to take you somewhere." Caleb says, while holding out his hand. You pt your hand in his and walk to his car. "We'll come back to get your car." You nod and proceed to get in his car. He has you put a blindfold on this time, and you trust him enough to do it.
After a few minutes, you feel the car come to a complete stop. You hear Caleb open and close his door, then you hear him open your door, you get out, and take his hand again. He shuts the door and leads you into a room. You stand in the doorway as Caleb walks away. A few seconds later you hear "Okay, you can take it off now!" and you do so. you look around the room and his dorm, but it's super dark and all the light are off. Before you can ask whats going on, the lights turn on, and Alex, your other friends, Caleb, and his friends jump out and yell "SURPRISE!!" you stumble back and laugh. Everyone is coming up to you, congratulating and hugging you. You tear up once more and ask Caleb what all this is.
"Well, me, Alex, and all my friends wanted to do something special for if you said yes. So we planned a party, between all of us. Alex assured me that you'd say yes so I went ahead and started planning. I've been talk to Alex so I'd know what to buy."
"Alex you.. knew about this?" You says, giggling. He nods you hug him tight while teas role down your face. "This is honestly the sweetest thing you and Caleb could've ever done!" You say through tears while giggling. "Hey, don't cry yet, you haven't read the cake yet nor the card!" Alex says, pulling away from you. "The.. cake and card?" you reply, looking very confused. That's when you see Caleb come from behind everyone with a cake, and Alex pulls out a card.
"Wait.. is that a *Insert Your favorite flavor of cake* flavored cake?" you ask. Caleb nods. You smile while he puts it down. "Come, read it!" He says, while gesturing for you to come to him. You walk over and read the cake. The cake reads 'I'm glad that you're mine (y/n), because I plan on keeping it that way forever.' Tears role down your face again as you start giggling once more. "Now for the card!" Alex says, while holding the card out towards you. You pick it up, and read it. The card reads '6 years ago I fell in love with this kind, smart, and beautiful girl. We lost contact, and I never thought I'd see her again. 6 years later and she's my girlfriend now. I love you (y/n)'
You wipe your tears, turn around, and kiss Caleb. He picks you up again and he kisses you back. Everyone is awing in the background. When he finally puts you down, you yell "Hey, Isn't this supposed to be a party?!" And that's when one of Caleb's friends puts some music on. You cut the cake and hand it out, and you dance the night away with the love of your life!
*The next morning*
You wake up in a unfamiliar bed. You assume that you passed out and Caleb put you in his bed. You get up, change into one of his hoodies, and walk out of his room into the kitchen. "Good morning beautiful!" Caleb says. "Well good morning handsome!" You reply. "Last night was so fun, I'm really glad that you said yes.." He says, smiling. You nod and smile as well. He hands you a plate with eggs, bacon, and grits on it. "I figured that you would be drained and hungry when you woke up so I fixed you something." You kiss him and eat.
Once you finish you leave, with his hoodie still on. You get back to your dorm and Alex is sitting, waiting for you. "So~ what happened?" He says, with a slight smirk on his face. "Jeez, nothing happened, I fell asleep and that was that." You reply. He sighs. "Wow, I thought you two would've had your hands all over each other with the way you were making out last night!" You both laugh and you change into your own clothes. You decide to wash Caleb's hoodie.
"Y'know.. I'm really glad that he asked me out." You say from another room. "Whys that?" Alex asks. "Because.. for 6 years I denied my feelings for him, I acted as if they were never there, and then he shows up, and it's like highschool all over again. I really do love Caleb, and I do want to be with him forever, but forever is a long time, and I don't know if he feels the same, despite the cake."
That's when you feel someones hands on your hips. You turn around, "What the-" But you get interrupted by Caleb kissing you. The kiss turns deep, and passionate. When he finally steps back, He says, "Of course I wanna be with you forever, I wanna grow old with you, I wanna start a Family with you, and I want you to be the only one I love for the rest of my life." You kiss him again, and everything else seems to fade away, and things become the happy ending, that you always wanted..
