Chapter One: Missing
"So tell me, why would someone kill the most innocent guy in town?" Helen tapped his pencil on the desk. Dante glanced at him, "Dunno, something he did?" he closed his book. Jackson twirled a lock of his black hair around his finger, "Moose". Dante and Helen glanced at him, "What?". "His name was Moose"
The boy sat up, panting heavily as if waking from a nightmare. His gaze flitted around every corner, trying to figure out where he was, little puffs of air escaping his lips. He stood up, leaning against a tree. Dark red leaves covering the ground below him, he backed up against the tree, it was blood. His blood. He let out a quiet cry for help, realizing he was very. . . far from home... The Black Forest, Germany.
"Shall we?" Dante teased, pushing Helen to step in first. Helen grunted softly, elbowing the other in the side. Jackson gazed up at the tall, ominous trees above, muttering softly. Helen swallowed hard looking at the dark foggy path infront of them. Dante bit his lip, glancing at the others with and unsure look on his face. They nod in unison, stepping into the forest.
