"Why were you holding lucas' hand?"
"ugh camer-"
"Seriously, i want to know"
She takes a deep breath "i thought he was cute and i offered to show him around the school because he was new and when the bell rang i held his hand to pull him out of the class to lead him around and i guess we just never let go."
"Oh" Cameron says and puts his head down
"Cameron" i say
"I thought you liked me?" Cameron says while whispering
"I never said i didn't, well i did in the staircase, but i didn't mean it."i say
"do you like vanessa?" i ask
"No" Cameron says and im filled with relief
"did you purposely kiss her infront of me"
"Yeah, im sorry"
"Why did you do that?"
"When i saw you with Lucas i got jealous, and i wanted to make you jealous so you could see how i felt, but it didn't really work out" he says
"Oh" i say
"Do you like lucas?"
I don't answer, i don't really know if i do like him or not.
Camerons jaw clenches. "I knew it" he scoffs
"Cameron come on, don't be like that"
