Hera
Everyone was surprisingly friendly. After exiting the door everything had been a blur, Hera had been nudged into conversation after conversation, but she was delighted, to be creating connections with her new friends.

Detaching herself from the group Hera grabbed her glass of wine and slowly swirled it in her hand as she watched the crowd interact, at the far end where the outdoor dining area was set Anne was bringing out dishes, to the table.

" Anne needs some help?" Hera asked walking towards  Anne
" I mean if your offering, it would be nice, thank you Hera." Anne gratefully replied looking over at Hera with an exhausted sigh.

"It's no problem at all "

The two women strolled  towards the home chatting about their evening so far when abruptly Anne recollected, "we need to get more wine, let me show you my pride and joy, my wine room!" Anne excitedly expressed,

" Lead the way, "
Mid hallway Anne and Hera were startled by the loud ringing of the doorbell, the front door had presumably been shut by accident.
" Well let's answer the door real quick before we head down"

" sounds good kid to me"

Alessandro

Arriving home from work Alessandro looked at the driveway, to see if his wife was home, but the driveway was empty like always.

Walking into the quiet space Allesandro walked upstairs to freshen up, he would get dressed and wait for Heather to arrive, before going over to the Andersons.

While taking a shower Alessandro heard the tapping of shoes in his and his wife's room.

For once in her life, she was on time.

Walking out of the shower, Alessandro got dressed, putting on a lightweight, fitted shirt, with navy slacks and tan slip-on, dress shoes.

It was hot outside he was not that excited to be dining in the dry heat but the Andersons were likable people and he needed social interactions anyway.

As he finished getting dressed, Allesandro watched as Heather moved around the room, she had simply not acknowledged him which made his blood boil, weren't married people suppose to converse?
" I'll wait for you in the car."
"Okay," Heather answered walking into her walk-in closet without a glance.

Grabbing his leather wallet, keys, and phone Alessandro, walked outside instantly getting hit by the feverish wind, groaning he slid into his car setting the air on the coolest setting possible. After a few minutes, the passenger seat was swung open, Heather got in the car as she laughed loudly on her phone, she was always on her goddamn phone.

Always.

The drive to the Andersons was short, at their arrival Allesandro and Heather stationed at an empty spot on the filled street, " wow looks like they invited the whole, entire town." Heather blurted out, an exaggeration, walking at a quick pace ahead of Allesandro, these social scenarios filled with gossip and alcohol were a place where Heather thrived.

Once at the front entrance Heather still hadn't hung up the phone, ringing the doorbell Heather continued to converse through the phone, from outside the mumbling of voices could be heard clearly.

" Heather it would be nice for you to greet Anne, not on your phone." With a glare, Heather continued to talk about the hospital gossip she had heard ignoring Alessandro's comment.

" If Anne invited a bunch of people over an open door, to arrive to would have been great." Heather expressed to her friend impatiently running her hand through her short hair, in an impatient manner.

" Heather..." Allesandro warningly said looking over at Heather in disagreement, before abruptly cutting himself off due to the door swinging open by Anne herself.

" Oh Hi, so nice to see you guys!"
The friendly woman excitedly greeted Allessandro with a tight hug and a quick one to Anne.

Alessandro was not dumb he had noticed in the past how Anne didn't enjoy Heather's company, from her uncontrollable expressions of dislike that she couldn't control, it always made him want to laugh.

" I'm just going to pick up this call from my other coworker, I'll see you guys inside," Anne said hurriedly walking away clutching the phone to her ear tightly.

" umm.. busy gal right? well, let me introduce you to my lovely new friend Hera!" Anne moved out of the doorway and was struck to a halt when a pair of the lightest blue eyes laid delicately on his.

At that moment Alessandro felt the air stop, he forgot he was a married man as his eyes wandered around the beautiful curves of the woman in front of him, in his long years of life, he had never seen such a beautiful woman, she was simply stunning.

And that was not an exaggeration.

Remembering he was still standing at the door, he offered his hand out in a polite manner,
"Alessandro."
As she opened her hypnotizing mouth and "Hera." Slipped out of her cherry lips,
"Hera..."

Oh god Hera.
