We walked into the entry way of the ballroom. '' Caden you will esort me and liam dear you will go alone. Jake as will you Jake. Lastly lily you will be esorted by your father . Now lets head in" We enter in and say hello to the guest. " Lily i want you to meet your aunt Lauren." Mom said. " hello lily its lovely to finally meet you i've heard great things about you." '' thank you! im glad you could come." " it was no trouble at all sweetie i just hope we could get to know each other one day maybe have a day out together just us two." ' that would be great some time soon i hope." i smiled and said thank you. I look up to see Hunter going down the stair . " Wow lils you look amazing!" " Thank you Hunter you look dashing tonight."i giggled. " May i have this dance lils" He responded by bowing. I giggled" Of course you may" . We both walked out onto the dance floor and danced away. From the corner of my eye i saw mom and dad dancing and talking. Mom smile is lights up the room and i see dad looking at mom with a loving look upon her face. I hope someone one day looks at me the way dad looks at mom. i smiled at Hunter as we danced. The music stopped and we pulled apart and clapped at the musicians who played elegant music throughout the night. By midnight everyone eventually said thank you and left. i thanked mom and dad and headed to bed. i had a wonder time at the dance.
