Stephen's Pov:
"I swear...Wong worries to much." I huffed and the cloak swatted at me before smacking the book out of my hand.
"Are you worried about him to?" I asked and the Cloak folded it's ends like it was crossing it's arms. "If it will please you then I'll check on him." I huffed getting up and the cloak perked up landing on my shoulders as I made a portal. I walked into the common area and looked around. "Stark?" I called and heard someone curse and what sound like something metal hitting the ground. I frowned and the cloak took off floating to the kitchen where it went stiff before flying in. I sighed and walked in to the kitchen. "Stark if you are playing some silly li-" I froze as I saw the cloak wrapping it's edge around Stark's bleeding wrist. I saw the knife on the floor with blood on it and my stomach dropped. He was going to kill himself.
"You can't be here." Stark said crying...He was actually crying. The man I met no longer confident and snarky but...a shell.
"Tony." I said and he flinched.
"Shut up!" He snapped. "Go away! I can't...not you." He sobbed and I frowned as I crouched next to him.
"I didn't know it was this bad." I said.
"Fuck off!" He snapped at me and when I looked into his eyes I saw the pain in his eyes as he looked away. "Anyone but you...I'll let anyone but you help me." He said sounding so hurt.
"What did I do?" I asked a little annoyed.
"You...did nothing." He said and it was so monotone as I looked at him. "You're not him." He said sounding so lost.
"Let me see." I said reaching out and Tony jerked back like I was going to burn him with my touch.
"Please...leave." He said.
"I'm not leaving when you just tried to kill yourself." I said and saw him flinch.
"I just wanted to go back." He whispered.
"Go back to where?" I asked and he was silent.
"You won't believe me...no one does." He said and I sighed.
"Just let me see your arm." I said reaching out the cloak not letting him jerk away this tim as I looked at the cut. It was pretty deep...I put my hand over it trying to heal it as best I could...It would be another scar on this arm. "Why?" I asked looking at him but he didn't even look at me as he stared at the tiled floor. "Stark." I said and still nothing...I swear! "Tony!" I snapped and his eyes jerked to me. "Why?" I asked again.
"Why what?" He asked.
"Why the hell are you trying to off yourself?" I asked and he looked away again.
"I told you." He said.
"You want to go back. Back where? You can't go back if your dead!" I hissed.
"Why do you care?" He asked.
"I..." I stopped and swallowed. "Just stop being an idiot. Let us help you with your damn arm." I said.
"It doesn't matter...I won't be here much longer." He whispered and my stomach dropped as I felt cold. I looked at him seeing the dark marks under his eyes. He looked dead...Thin, pale, and the lack of sleep was not helping him.
"You should have told us." I said.
"Why? I don't want your pity." He said and I glared at him.
"It's not pity! You have friends you can ask for help." I said.
