Chapter twelve:

After a stressful day, macsonia and the team later got to there various houses after having a team dinner which was sponsored by Sandra at a restaurant close to the precinct. The food wasn't very sweet but they all enjoyed it as they where all famished.

She was about to open the door to her apartment when she realized that the door was already open, so she quickly brought out her gun and was about to shoot when she realized that she had a off and In  roommate so she placed her gun back, but it was already too late as bisi already saw the gun and came out with her big shirt and her hair covered up with a scarf and a frying pan on her hand supplemented with a big frown on her face.

She has been her roommate and have been living with her for over 3 years although most time she had a sleepover at the morgue when she is really busy. But she keeps forgetting that she lives here with her. It's a Mira that she hasn't even fired the gun at me. She thought.

“ why do you keep forgetting that I live here with you” bisi asked, still frowning. Macsonia on the other gently locked the door and moved a little far away from her as she doesn't want to get killed, cause right now the look she was giving her was pretty scary okay?.

“ am really sorry bisi, it's just instinct, I have to be alert at all time” macsonia said , although she knew that her excuse was very flimsy but she couldn't do anything about it as that was the truth.

“ yh, whatever ” bisi said and left going to the kitchen to check on her noodles, and then she immediately smiled and all her anger went away after she saw the noodles on fire. So beautiful she thought and couldn't help drooling.

Just as she was about to bring the noodles down , macsonia walked into the kitchen while holding a bag up to bisi face, I bought suya and Ice- cream  for you.

Bisi pushed the bag from her face before smiling widely at macsonia. “ you know I can't be mad at you for long”. “ yes I know and that's why I love you so much” macsonia said as she hugged her from the back while Elizabeth opened the bag and brought out the suya and poured the suya inside the pot of noodles and turned it together before bringing it down.

She took out a fork and took from the noodles to test it and she couldn't help rolling her eyes backwards as she took a bite of a piece of suya mixed with the noodles, it was tender, peperich and well done, she couldn't help but want to continue feeling the taste. She was a foodie and she was very much aware of it and also proud of as well.

Few minutes later she had dished out the food and she and macsonia sat down at there little dinning table to eat. As they ate the began to talk about there day, the cases they where both handling and how frustrated they are for not having any lead on the case they where both working on.

“ so when are you going to introduce my inlaw” bisi asked as she smiled slyly at macsonia trying to Change the topic as they where both frustrated she couldn't help but want to make the  room more lively, but macsonia smiled and gave her the I don't know what you are talking about look.

“ you know that any man you are going to date, like everyone of them will have to get my permission first” bisi gave her a serious look as she said this.

“ yes mummy I know, but am not in any relationship right now, I have decided to join you and remain celibate till after marriage" macsonia said very seriously, like a child who was looking up to the mother for directions and acknowledgment. Which made bisi to laugh very hard that she started having stomach ache.

“ celibate my add, you celibate?” bisi asked, although she knew that she was just joking and they both started laughing but macsonia couldn't understand why she thought she couldn't be celibate, but she still laughed along with her, and they continued chatting and eating before falling asleep on the kitchen table. But of them where each other's home and family and Bisi couldn't do without macsonia and although macsonia acts tough she also can't do anything without bisi, they understood each other even in there silence. And they both could never ask for a better family.
