|Something Strange|

David's Pov:

Something is strange about this new guy. I sense a strong and dark energy around him. I wonder if he's special like me.. a normal human usually doesn't have such a strong energy around them. My energy is pretty strong as well but not that strong. He's different from me and any other human. I can just feel it.

I have psychic abilities. Unfortunately I don't really know how to control or use it at will yet. I just get these visions at random. They mostly show up when something dangerous is about to happen. They're kind of like a warning to me. It can be pretty useful sometimes, but there is times where they're just false alarms. My visions aren't always correct. I hate having this ability to be honest. It's too confusing and stressful. Knowing what's gonna happen next is kinda boring. I'd like to be surprised for once.

When I saw Tyler yesterday morning I got a vision. It didn't last long though. I only got a quick glance at it. It was dark and windy as snow blew into my face. we were outside, He was calling for me. He sounded worried and panicked. I don't understand why he was yelling for me or why he was looking for me. Is this a warning? I thought to myself. Maybe I should try to warm up to Tyler to get more information about this vision.

I stood at my bus stop waiting for it to arrive. I got on as soon as it stopped and sat in my usual seat. I looked over a crossed from me to see that Tyler isn't on yet. I stared out the window until I felt his presence as we stopped again. I watched him sit in the same spot as yesterday and face the window. I got up from my seat and sat beside him. He just looked over to my direction as I smiled. "Oh hey David" he said smiling softly. "H-Hello" I said awkwardly. An awkward silence fell between us until Tyler broke it once again. "So um..what's up buddy?" He said obviously not knowing what else to say. "Uh..nothin much I guess, I-I was just wondering if ye wanted to hang out at the courtyard during free period today..?" I asked looking down nervously. Why am I nervous about this guy!??I never get like this. "Sure. Is Evan and the rest gonna be there too?" He asked smiling. Honestly I wanted to speak in private but he might decline my offer if I say they won't. "Y-Yeah they'll be there.." I said fake smiling. "Ok cool, I'll see you then" he said smiling. We got up from our seats when the bus stopped at the school. I watched as Tyler walked over to Evan to talk to him leaving me to walk alone again. I went to my first period and decided to listen to some music.

*Time skippppp*

I waited by the tree in the courtyard for everyone to show up. I'm mostly waiting on Tyler to show up. I don't even know if I'll have a chance to talk to him with the guys here though. Evan and Brian will probably talk him to death. I quietly chuckled to myself. They can be a bunch of loud mouths, though I don't have room to talk since I'm an even bigger loud mouth. "What you chuckling about there bud?" A familiar voice said while chuckling himself. I jumped to see that it was Tyler. "Oh..uh..was just thinking of old memories" I said nervously. I watched as he said down beside me leaning his back onto the tree. "You know, trees aren't as comfortable as I thought" Tyler said and I giggled in response. "Well obviously it isn't gonna be comfortable" I said giggling some more. "Shut up you little potato bitch boy!" He said and we laughed some more. "Potato bitch boy?" I repeated giggling. Tyler just smiled at me and soon enough I felt my face heat up and my stomach felt like it had butterflies in it. "Yo are you okay dude? You're face is kinda red" he asked making my face turn even redder. "Y-Yeah I'm fine, I think it's just from laughing too much" I said chuckling nervously. I jumped when I heard Evan from behind me. "Eyyy! What up guys!" Evan yelled while smiling. "What up bitches!" Tyler yelled as Marcel, Brian and Lui joined in. "Where's Scotty and Brock at?" Tyler asked. "Oh they stayed behind to catch up on some work" Marcel said rolling his eyes. I stayed quite as the rest talked to each other and laugh med at each other's stupidity. I wanna talk too but every time I open my mouth nothing comes out. I was talking just fine a couple of minutes ago, I don't understand. I've never felt like this before.

Before I knew it I heard the bell ring and everyone except for Evan walked to class. As I was getting ready to sit up Evan came over and sat me back down and then sat beside me. "Evan I'm gonna be late for classsssss!" I wined and he just rolled his eyes. "So what if are, it's not like it's your first time skipping" Evan said sighing. I just crossed my arms and gave him a pouty look. "Anyways I wanted to talk to you." He said looking back at me. "About what?" I asked curiously. "You've just been acting strange since yesterday, is it because of Tyler?" He asked genuinely concerned. I might as well tell him the truth since he already knows about my secret, not only that I know a secret of his as well. "I..I had another vision.." I spoke quietly. "What was it about?" He asked eggar to know. "I'm not sure.., I just remember seeing snow pour from the night sky and I was in the middle of nowhere as I heard Tyler's voice call out for me in the distance.." I said looking down sighing. "What do you think that means?" He asked and I just shrugged my shoulders in response. "I'm trying to get close to him, like getting to know him more and hangout with him in hopes that I'll get another vision, hopefully then I can understand it." I said and Evan just nodded. "Anything else you wanna talk about?" He asked getting ready sit up from the ground. "Yeah there is something else.., you can't tell this to any of the other guys" I said in a serious tone. "What about Lui?" He asked. "Lui isn't good with keeping secrets" I said chuckling a little bit. "But seriously, there's something strange about Tyler." I said with a straight face. "Strange how?" He asked curious. "I just sense something about him." I said and Evan gave me a confused look. I sighed looking back at him. "He's different from you and I, I can just feel it.." I said in a stern tone.
