I'm beginning to believe that there is something more than just this world we live in. I've been having these dreams recently, where it's like I live in this different dimension. These dreams have been showing me a life, my life. The one thing that I'm confused about is that these dreams feel real.
"Hey, Harlow! You writing about you dreams again?" Harvey questioned.
"Yea. I'm keep on having these dreams, and the thing is that it feels so real." I replied.
Harvey is one of my little brothers; the one I'm closer to be exact. We share everything, especially everything that has been going on recently.
I've been having these dreams recently, where it's as if I was in a whole different universe with supernatural creatures. Then, Harvey have been seeing spirits. He's terrified of them and won't talk to them, but they try and communicate with him.
"So you're still having these dreams about these supernatural creatures, and I'm still seeing spirits that are telling me to not trust anyone besides our siblings and Bizz." He stated
"Yup. It just doesn't make sense, Harvey! Why is this only happening between you, Bizz, and I? Plus, everything that us three talk about connects someway, somehow."
"I don't know. A normal twelve year old boy should be peacefully playing video games or watching tv, but instead when I try to be a normal boy, spirits try to get in my way of the TV!" Harvey explained.
"Hmm."
I began to think about what Harvey has just said. He's not wrong. He should be able to be a normal boy, but he can't due to this "gift." To be honest, it's more like a curse than a gift.
Bizz is stronger than Harvey, maybe I could ask her to talk to the spirits and see what is truly going on. I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs.
"Where are you going?" Harvey asked.
"I'm going to Bizz's. Do you want to come?" I asked.
"Depends." He replied.
"I'm going to her to ask a spirit why we are seeing things." I explained.
"No, no, no, no! I'm out! I already have to deal with them whispering in my ear, and I don't want need any more to add in." He rambled.
I began walking down to Bizz's house. Bizz has been my best friend since we were seven. She's very powerful, and by that I mean the supernatural do not mess with her. As I walked up the steps to her house, I hear yelling from her parents...again.
"I just want you out of my life already, Bob!" Mrs. Rodgers yelled.
"Fine, then, I'm leaving!" Mr. Rodgers shouted.
"Good!"
Bob opened up the door and saw me.
"Uh, hey Harlow? Um, how long have you been standing here?" He asked scratching the back of his head.
"I just walked up the steps, Mr. Rodgers." I answered.
"Oh, okay then. Well, Bizz is upstairs in her room." He said as he reached for his car keys.
"Thank you, Mr. Rodgers."
I made my way upstairs to Bizz's room. When I got to her door, I heard talking. I knocked on our door, our special knock, so she knows it's me.
"Come in!" Bizz answered.
I walked in and saw her looking at her desk chair.
"Wait! Come back! It's okay!" Bizz yelled at the empty desk chair.
"Sorry, for interrupting." I retorted.
"It's okay, I'll just pick up where we left off later. What's up?"
"So, I need you to do me a favor."
"What favor?"
"I need you to ask your spirit friends why this is happening to us."
"Okay, then. Let me try and call one that will help."
