Missed a Super Jump(Marimmi story)

A beautiful day in Inkopolis at the moment. In fact, it was a wonderful day for a turf war! So what else was there to do but gather up the Squid Sisters and have themselves some fun.

It was a cozy summer day at Blackbelly Skatepark. Perfect weather for a little bit of battling. The girls would prepare themselves for battle, all 4 of them with their classic weapons they considered their favorites. Marina's hands would tremble as she struggled to keep her Splatbrella in her arms. Not like she was nervous or anything. Was she?

"Psh! You nervous there, 'Rina?"

Pearl would playfully nudge Marina's arm and giggle. Marina couldn't help but giggle alongside her best friend.

"don't you worry about a thing, Marina! we're gonna take these guys out and claim the turf for ourselves! so don't get your tentacles in a bunch, alright??"

And just like that, the girls have made it onto the turf, inking everything they could. Marie and Callie took their own path, while Pearl and Marina decided to separate. Her plan was all sorted out. If she could make it to the middle platform, she could be able to ink the most turf from there. Hopefully. And there she went, inking up the side of the platform to swim her way up. The view was quite high, to say the least, but that didn't matter at the moment. All that was on her mind was winning the turf war right here, right now.

But first.

She had to protect her precious Pearlie first, as she was about to get herself splatted by two other squids from the rival team.

Time for a Super Jump.

Marina would plop down onto the surface, and, with all of the energy she have, blasted off in Pearl's direction...

But she never touched the ground.

Wait, what?

She was still flying through the air?? How much power did she use for that Super Jump anyway??

Where was she even flying off to anyway??
