Chenle was a loss of words, how!? Just, how!?
Chenle closed his mouth and put his head in his hands, "please tell me you are kidding" he said with a tiny hope in his voice.
"Why would I be kidding I have always dreamed about them meeting each other and now they have!" Renjun said being totally oblivious to Chenle's reaction.
"Oh my- have you totally forgotten what they have told you!?" Chenle said looking up at Renjun from his hands with a serious look.
"Uhh... if they have told me something then yes I've forggoten it" Renjun was lost, he did really not remember anything they had told him.
"Oh god, you really are an idiot Renjun" Chenle said in a lower tone but so Renjun still could hear it.
"What have I done?" Renjun questioned while sitting on the bed beside Chenle.
Chenle looked at Renjun and started explaining "Don't you remember that you told me you really wanted them to meet but they had told you about their arter and how the cats didn't like the dogs and the other way around?"
Renjun's eyes widened "Shit!" He said before putting his hand over his mouth "I really am an idiot" he said in to his hand so it was a little muffled.
He fell back on the bed, closed his eyes and sighed "what am I going to do?"
"I don't know, but you have to some how cancel the next date you sat them up on" Chenle said in the same giving up voice as Renjun.
"Yeah, but how? they sounded so happy for meeting each other, what if they maybe would accept-" Chenle cut Renjun of "they won't and you know that".
"Yeah, I know, but I still wish there was a chance" Renjun continued.
"But finde your phone we need to cancel that date in good time" Chenle said, standing up.
