Me and my family were all asleep. The only noise I heard was the quiet hoots from the owl outside. Then I heard a tiny creak. I quickly rose from my bed in fear. My mouth was dry and my tonuge felt dry rotted. I got out of bed and silently and tiptoed down the stairs. I was making sure not to wake my father or stepmother. I was so scared that I didn't even notice that I was already down the stairs. I was so dried that my head started to hurt. All of a sudden the room started shaking. I quickly arrived at the fridge. I saw the cabnet and I wondered where it was.There was the cabnet, it seemed so high but it was just there. I finally got water and walked up stairs. When I arrived at the stairs I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I sneaked over to the screen door. I was trembling a bit because I was scared. But after a little I realised nothing was there. I sneaked for the stairs but before I could reach the stairs I heard a loud scream.
