TRIGGER WARNING FOR MENTIONS OF ILLNESSES AND VOMIT
———————————————
Small prologue: You had been suffering with a heart condition and a chronic illness for a couple of years now. Everyday was living hell because you could only eat a certain amount of food before throwing back up. It feels like you can't live a normal life like all your friends do and you're stuck in the hospital for long periods of time. The doctors advised that you should take small walks in the evenings to "ease your heart". You think this is absolute bogus and it would do nothing whatsoever, but you decide to do what your doctor says.

Y/N POV:
It was another boring evening and my mother was out with friends for the night (A/N: You're at-least in your late 20s early 30s in this fic btw). I had no choice but to live with my mother because when I moved out for a small period of time a few years ago, I had many heart attacks and I would pass out unexpectedly. Mother was really concerned for me and my health so she offered to let me stay at her house so I could be closer to her whenever something goes wrong. As much as I love my mother, she's way too protective of me since my dad left when I was pretty young and she worries that I might die without her knowing. I try to reassure her I'll be fine but she can't help but to worry about me. Poor woman.

Tonight I decided to go for a small walk around the city and chill. I put on my F/C hoodie and some blue jeans and set out. I took my keys and phone just in case something happened to me even though I highly doubted something was going to happen. It was cold out so I didn't plan to stay out for long. I walked around the city and said hi to some familiar people. I didn't realise I walked for miles until I reached a creepy looking hospital on the outskirts of the city.

My heart pounded. My brain was in an argument with itself. My first half was saying to go back immediately and my other was saying go in.
"Well, if this is the closest thing to an adventure for me then I might as well take the opportunity." I said to myself, walking in slowly.
