Seth ran back to Emily's and Sam's house. He shifted and got dressed with the clothes that he hid. He was scared and afraid. Leah soon came running after, she shifted and got dressed. She walked over to Seth. "Seth", she said. She put a hand on her brothers shoulder. "She's my imprint Leah, my imprint and yet she's mated to jasper, you know if he finds out, he's going to kill me", he said.

He was really freaking out now. He ran a hand through his hair.

"You know what, I can't do this, yea I want to be in her life, but I can't be if he's going to kill me, it's best that she doesn't know who I am", he said as started to walk back to the house.

Leah ran after him. "You can't do that, you know that, you can't just reject the imprint bond, maybe jasper will understand, as much as I hate to say this, but she's your imprint, and I don't want my brother to be miserable because he's a chicken shit, and won't have the balls to confront them both, I mean Seth, she's a baby, it's not like you can do anything, you can watch her grow up, just like quil did with Claire, if you really want to be in her life, then do it, if the blood sucker loves her enough, he'll let you be in her life,

She's your imprint little brother, don't hide from her, she's going to need you when the Cullen can't be there for her, go get your imprint", she said.

Seth sighed. "I'll think about it lee, I just don't know, maybe she'll be safer with him then with me", he said.

Leah sighed. "Did you hear nothing they said, there's a blood sucking army coming after her, they have her scent and will come after her, and I don't know if he's going to be able to fully protect her when he's on the battle field", she said.

He looked at her surprised. "Why didn't you just start with that?! I have to go", he said freaking out.

He threw off his clothes and tied them to his ankles. He shifted and ran all the way to the Cullen house.

Rosalie, who know knew, that Seth imprinted on Valerie, grumbled. She's hated that they just keep taking her baby from her. But she knew she couldn't do anything about it.

She held Valerie in her arms, jasper who was now hunting.

She sighed and looked down at her daughter. "You have a lot of people that love you and are going to protect you, I love you so much baby girl, so much, you are my baby, you came from me, and I get the right to love you more then your daddy's, jasper or anyone, your mine and no one can tell me otherwise", she whispered to her daughter.

She got a gummy smile, a giggle, and a gurgle. Her tiny hands playing with her mother's hair.

Rosalie grabbed one of her daughters hand and kissed the back of her tiny hand.

"My beautiful baby girl, my baby, you are mine, you hear me, you are mine, always be mine, even when your all grown up and have children of your own, you will still be mine, you'll always be mine", she whispered.

She felt Valerie put a hand on her face. She leaned into the small hand.

She then heard a twig snap, and got protective, and backed away. Going towards the door. But calmed down once she saw it was Seth.

She sighed in relief. "Oh it's just you Seth, you scared the living hell out of me", she said. She got a giggle from Valerie.

Seth gave Rosalie a smile. "Sorry rose, didn't mean to scare you, I just came to see......", he couldn't say it, afraid she would be mad at him.

Rosalie smiled. "I'm not mad Seth, David told me, I know you didn't have a choice on who you imprint on, the guys aren't mad either, I'm sure we can talk this out with jasper as soon as he gets back, now would you like to hold your imprint", she said with a small smile.

Seth hesitated, just waiting for jasper to come out and hurt him. But he waited a minute and got nothing. So he walked slowly over to Rosalie and Valerie. He hesitated before opening his arms. Rosalie smiled, she lightly and gently handed Valerie to Seth. "Mind her head", she whispered. Which he did. His arm supposed her head.

She was so small. He held her so close to him. Afraid that he would drop her. His hand brushed over her cheek. Valerie tilted her head, looking up at him. Before he got a smile and a giggle out of her. Her tiny hands touched his face and lord was he in heaven right now.

He smiled down at her. "Hello there Valerie, I'm Seth, I'm going to protect you with everything that is in me, I promise you, I know you don't know much about the world, it's a bit scary and all, but when you grow up, you can see how beautiful it can be, and I can be by your side, if that's what you want, I can be anything you want, a friend, a shoulder to cry on, your protector, I don't have to be your lover, I can be anything you want me to be", he whispered to her. Anyone could see the adoration he had in his eyes as he looked down at the small and tiny baby in his arms.

He just got a smile and a gurgle. He smiled down at her. He tickled her cheek, which got a giggle out of Valerie. He loved the sound. He now knew what quail was talking about. She may be a baby but she was the most beautiful baby. He looked into her eyes, and suddenly she was gurgling in baby talk. He pretended to understand her. He nodded and smiled, and said a couple of 'ohs' and 'yeahs'

And then he felt her hand grasp around his shirt. The other hand in Seth's. It was so much smaller then his. He grasped it gently. Afraid he would break it. He got a few more gurgles and then a yawn, which made him smile in adoration, even her yawn was adorable. "Get some sleep baby girl", he whispered to her. He saw her smile and learn her head on his chest. And before he knew it, she was out like a light. Her breathing tubes helping her breathe, but yet letting her sleep. Even in her sleep she was beautiful in his eyes. He smiled down at her. But then he heard a snap and looked up. He saw Rosalie with a camera. He saw her smile. "It's going in the baby book", she said with a giggle in her voice.

He chuckled softly. He looked back down at her. He was glad he didn't stay away. He didn't care that jasper would probably get mad. He wanted to be by her side and watch as she grew up. She was his imprint. He couldn't stay away now, even if he wanted too. It would be too painful. He leaned down and pecked her little tiny forehead.

He saw her smile in her sleep. He smiled. "I'm here now, I won't let anything or anyone hurt you", he whispered softly.

But after he said that. He heard yet another snap, but this time it was a tree branch snapping. "Uh oh", he heard Rosalie say in fear. He turned around and saw jasper. But he knew it wasn't jasper. Because of the eyes. It wasn't jaspers eyes. He gulped. He was dead meat. His eyes looked Feral. Yep he was a goner. He saw jasper growl. He had to get Valerie out of here or she was going to get hurt. He kept his eyes on jasper. "Rosalie, take Valerie inside", He whispered.

Rosalie could hear the sound of fear in his voice, but it wasn't fear for himself, it was for Valerie, for the risk of her getting hurt. She slowly walked over to Seth, and grabbed The sleeping Valerie out of Seth's arms and rushed inside.

And that's when jasper pounced.
