"YOU'RE A DEATH EATER PRAT!! Why in Merlin's name would McGonagall make you head boy!?" Draco huffed at her words with a (slightly) hurt expression.

"Well, I'm not sure. Ask her, but what I will say is my grades have always been derictly behind yours. While my personality was lacking, I've always made sure to keep up with academics. Even with The Dark Lords commands." He said in a matter-a-factly voice. Hermione glared and internally rolled her eyes.

"There were many more students close to your grades that were perfectly sweet!" She protested.

"Let me ask you a question Granger."

"You would even if I say no." Hermione groaned. Draco shrugged and nodded in response, causing her to shake her head.

"Once again proving you're the brightest witch of our age." This comment shocked Hermione. Had he called her a know-it-all? Duh! But this was different. He was admitting to her being bright... Not just an insufferable bookworm. "Anyway, back to my question." Draco paused and looked Hermione derictly into her eyes.

"If met someone who got raped or put into a sex trafficking system would you slut shame them?"

Hermione's eyes went as wide as the stars. She had no idea what she was expecting him to ask, but whatever she was subconsciously suspected it was not even in the same universe as what words left his mouth.

"Wha- I- Why woul- No! O- of course not! Never in a million years!" She yelled completely dumbfounded.

"Why?"

wHy¡? She was even more shocked by this question. There are so many reasons!

"Well for one, it's traumatizing! They probably already feel awful and humiliated and don't need anyone else making the situation worse. Secondly, that's just rude. Everything in any half decent person's morals says that slut shaming for something like that is just as disgusting as the action itself... And the most obvious one is, IT WASN'T THIER BLOODY CHOICE! They either didn't know, had no control over it, or were being threatened. It's not their fault. I would never dream of blaming them for something that wasn't their fault, and they were forced into!"

Draco rolled his gray orbs and chuckled "Yeah right." This made Hermione furious. How dare he come over to me, ask me such a question, then act like this!

"Yeah! Right!" She said seperating his exact words to prove a point "I would nev-"

"Yes you would."

"DON'T YOU DARE MAKE SUCH ACCUSATIONS ABOU-"

"These aren't accusations. I have proof."

"PROOF MY ARSE! WHAT PROOF COULD YOU POSSIB-"

"IF YOU'D SHUT UP AND LISTEN I COULD EXPLAIN MYSELF!" Hermione glared intencesly before crossing her arms and motioning for him to continue."Last time I checked you and your friends still judge and shame me for being a former death eater."

"That's completely different!" Hermione scoffed. Merlin! The nerve! She thought.

"Is it?"

She opened her mouth to fire back, yet again, but he cut her off. "Really think about. For one, being a death eater was trumatzing. I was only sixteen, being asked to kill someone! Not to mention that someone just so happened to be one of the most esteemed wizards in wizarding history. He was years, and years, above my age and the headmaster at my school. I also literally gave a piece of my soul to the darkest wizard ever known, and I wasn't even a legal adult. Number two. The entire reason the war was started was to stop racisim against muggleborns. Great, that war is over and muggleborns are now far more socially accepted, but now we have a new racism. Now we have a racism against Death eaters and all their family. My friends, all of which weren't ever death eaters, are being ridiculed and told they should be in Azkaban simply because their parents were ones. Just as you can't control what blood is in your parents veins, they can't control who's side their parents picked. Sounds like the same thing just in a different form, right? And lastly, IT WASN'T MY BLOODY CHOICE!!! I had absolutely zero control over the situation and on top of being threatened I was afraid of being a disappointment. If I hadn't taken the dark mark Lucius would've hated me! Now, I couldn't care less, but at the time I idolized him. He is my father after all. Besides, if I hadn't taken the mark or hadn't fixed the vanishing cabinet, not only would I be dead but all my family would be too. The only one who would've been spared would probably be Bellatrix. I was forced into that. As for my horrid behavior, I was brought up that way. If you grow up in a household where all your family and your parents were vegan, you would most likely be vegan. I grew up in a family where most of my family was racist and so I was raised to be racist, not to mention at the time, that form of racisim was somewhat normal. I'm trying to change who I am completely. That's not easy, especially when everyone doesn't believe you and you don't have a stable support system. Granger, you don't have to dream of blaming someone for something that wasn't their fault and they were forced into. It's your reality. You blamed someone for something that wasn't their fault and they were forced into just about fifteen minutes ago. You blamed me. So I ask once again, is it really that different?"

And with that, Draco walked away, leaving Hermione to become a slave to her thoughts. She found that her voice was completely gone. She opened her mouth and nothing came out. Her mouth was a perfect 'o' as she stared at the spot where the Platinum haired head boy once stood. Finally. Finally she could get a few words out. One sentence. One short sentence was all she could say. To admit it made Hermione feel ashamed, but she didn't want to lie to herself. And so she said;

"No, it's not really that different."
