They stood at the edge of the forest, in a large field.
The forest is dark and looks evil in nature.
Like the embodiment of anything evil lurks and lies in wait. But at the center of this forest lies a tree.
with the fallen angel upon it.
but not only do the evil ones lie here
but also the fallen and discouraged beings and souls rest here to rot and retire from life.
And at that moment something from deep within the forest was a stirring;
a figure,
dark and black,
with long wispy lines coming from its body.
As the children feel the stirring from within the light-covered field,
they draw nigh to the forest.
Overcome by curiosity and innocence,
one child throws a rock at the shady figure. It absorbs the rock and children run away;
back towards the comfort of home;
the comfort that of which all things from the forest will never have once more.
