I woke up and I... I couldn't see anything. I tried saying some thing but not only would my throat create the words, my mouth wouldn't even open. I tried to move but i couldn't even do that. I realized that there was something touching me. I slowly moved my eyes down and saw some thing peering out at me from the darkness. It screamed, it sounded like a heavily robotisised child scream, and then it lunged. I went cold, then i saw light and I found myself in the hospital bed again. "Hey.. Alex?" I heard Colette say "oh ya sorry just day dreaming I guess". I felt a sharp pain roll through my head and remembered i had been shot. "Well if you don't mind m'ladies I'm going to pass out now." and with that i rolled over and went to sleep. But just as i closed my eyes, i saw something flying towords the window. "Alex Smith, you have been branded for death!" it said. Then the window exploded, sending me spralling to the hospital tile floor. "What the.." I started to say before I was inturrupeted by a bloodcurdling scream of angony. I looked over and saw Savanna screaming and bleeding, and upon further inspection I realized why. Savanna's leg was blown to bits "Goddamn it! What the damned hell was that thing!" she screamed as Colette aplied preasure to her leg with a towel. "Please don't swear I'm trying to keep this story family friendly." "What's that supposed to mean, Alex!" both of the nurses said in unison. "Nevermind." I replied. "Seriosly, What was that though?" said the wounded girl " I don't know Anna but whatever it was, it wants him dead and really bad." Replied Colette. I realized I hadn't checked Colette's injuries, or my own! I looked at Colette and saw huge shards of glass sticking out of her arm. I rushed over,"Hold still and don't swear please." I said as I started pulling them out. "What? Ow shi..." she said. "Shh, I said don't!", then i looked and Savanna and noticed she was white, white as an egg, then she let out a groan and passed out. Colette must have noticed me looking at at her friend, because when that happened she screamed her dying friends name as she shook her back and forth.
