Chapter two : Jokes!

"W..what..?

"Haha! Taehyung you're so funny! You shouldn't be joking around like that!" I said lightly punching his arm. "Joking? Who said I was joking?" He said raising an eyebrow. "You can't be serious about something like that! Why would you like me anyway? You're way out of my league. Don't joke around with me like that anymore, okay?" I said giggling a little bit after. "Haha.. yeah.. it was just a joke.." he said with a sad tone in his voice. I didn't think too much about it. We finished watching the sunset and he walked me home. "Thank you Taehyung. I had a really good time today!" I said giving him a smile. "I'm so glad. I hope we can have more days like this." He said showing his soft smile looking up at the sky. "Well, I'm home now. I'll see you later okay Tae?" I said as I gave him a big fat bear hug. "Love you~" I said before walking inside my house. I kept thinking about when he said that he likes me. Did he really mean it? Why would he like someone like me anyway? I only see him as a close friend, but why do I feel bad for rejecting him IF he did mean what he said. I mean, I loved Taehyung a lot.. but only as a friend.. but he didn't mean it, right? Definitely not! Haha! He can't like someone like me! I suddenly got cut off from my thoughts when I heard my phone buzz. I got a text. It was Taehyung.

"Hey.. about what happened today.. I was just joking!"

"Why did you even say that?"

"I don't know.."

"You're an idiot, Kim Taehyung."

"I know.."

I giggled at these texts. We started to text for a while, but then I got too tired and fell asleep.

Why can't she believe me? How come she thinks it's a joke? This thought bothers me. I wish she would believe me. Even if I do get rejected... I just want her to know how I really feel. But I guess some people just won't listen..

Were the heck is she? She was supposed to be here 30 minute ago. I thought today was our day. I then hear someone tell my name. Finally she's here. "Jimin! Jimin! I'm so sorry I'm late! I slept in.. again.." she always sleeps in. I got up and flicked her forehead. "Owie! That wasn't very nice!" She had a mad look on her face which made her look cute. "Well maybe you should start waking up on time. Every time you're late, equals one flick on the forehead." I said. "Ugh.. okay fine! I won't be late next time we meet up." She said with an annoyed look on her face. "Promise?" I said holding out my pinkie. "Okay, promise." She said as she locked out pinkies together. My pinky was smaller then hers, I know. She always reminds me. But that's cute. "Hey Jimin.." Y/N said looking down at her hands. "Taehyung said something yesterday.. he said he likes me.. but he was joking of course! I just wondered why he would joke about something like that." Wait.. Taehyung likes Y/N? I don't think he was joking about it. My gut just tells me. "Huh, that's strange that he would say that and then say it's a joke. I mean.. do you like him?" I asked. "I like him.. but only as a friend!" She said looking at me with a soft smile. "Look at this shop. I said as I stopped walking. "Woah.. look at that pretty flower crown.. it's beautiful.." she said as her eyes lite up. "Do you want me to buy it for you?" I asked looking down at her. "You would? Really? For me?" She said as her eyes lite up even more. "Yes, of course. You would look so cute.." as soon as I said that she started to jump up and down in excitement. "Thank you so much Jiminie! You're the best!" After she said she that she gave me a he biggest hug. "It's not really that much of a deal.." I said putting my hand at the back of my head.

"Aaa~! It's so pretty! I'm so grateful Jimin! It was pretty expensive.." she said looking at the flower crown I bought. "It was really nothing. You really wanted it, so I got it for you." I said, then taking it from her and placing it on her head. "Cute.." I said giving her a soft smile. "Why do you always call me cute?" She asked giving me a curious look. "Well, I'm not saying just for the sake of saying it.. I'm saying because I think you're cute." I said looking at her, which she was hiding her red face. "U-uhm..well that's very sweet of you.." she said taking her hands out if her face and giving me a smile. "Anything you want to do next?" I asked. "I am pretty hungry." She said patting her tummy like she always does. "Okay then, let's go to the usual?" I asked looking down at her. "Yes please!" She said looking at me with a big smile.
