Third Person POV:

Jimin was stood under the warm water of the shower pouring over his sweat-covered skin. His muscles were sore and his eyes were stinging with tears as he washed his hair and body, taking his time to make sure everywhere was squeaky clean before he went to his bed to pass out on the mattress.

He had been up since six that morning to head to the studio to start recording the songs for their album Love Yourself: Tear. After the time he spent there, he drank a few glasses of water and went to the company building to have a meeting with the rest of the members and Bang-PD about promotions and their comeback in a month or so. Then he immediately went to the dance studio to practice some choreography he had been having some trouble learning and to do some workouts in the gym. What felt like an eternity later, he was finally back at the house, making the terrible decision to skip dinner just so he could shower and go to sleep as soon as possible.

After the booming success of their last album, the pressure on the boys had become far more intense compared to how it used to be. Their fame had spread, their music was being sold, and their fans were happier than ever. But Bang-PD wanted them to keep it that way, even if it meant only letting the boys get two to three hours of sleep a night. Comments and questions were being spread around social media about how the boys of Bangtan weren't working hard enough and how they weren't making music as good as they used to. Some were criticizing the group as a whole while others decided to pick on certain members just to see what would happen. Members like Namjoon and Yoongi disregarded the hate and saw it as just a fact of the life they chose while others like Taehyung and Jeongguk were taking it to a much more personal level. But the one that was taking it the hardest of them all was the one who showed it the least; Jimin.

There were so many things that people saw as flaws about him; looks, personality, personal history. They never could seem to focus on the positive. Their minds could only grasp the negative things.

Too skinny...
Too fat...
Too happy...
Too sad...
Too annoying...
Too laidback...
Too good...
Too bad...

For years he tried to find ways to please the people that saw bad in him. He tried to change his image, his personality, his way of going about day to day things... but nothing worked. And now with the new comeback and the pressure weighing on their shoulders becoming heavier and heavier every day, there was no pleasing the people who could only see the bad. When he tried to change for them, they called him fake. When he tried to become himself again, they called him ugly and stupid. After a while... he just... gave up.

Jimin let their words sink into his brain and not even bother to try to pry them out. Jimin tried to convince himself that only sticks and stones could break his bones, but the words were always the ones that hurt the most. The lies soon became facts in his eyes... ugly, worthless, untalented, attention seeker... Not even the members could convince him otherwise. Though there was one that could always seem to lessen the pain, even if it was just for a little while.

Jimin did his best to keep his insecurities hidden from Yoongi. They were his battles and he could fight them alone. Yoongi didn't need to know... it wasn't important... But there were days when he would catch Jimin trying to throw away his meals without taking a single bite or staring at the mirror much longer than necessary. Once, he even caught the younger purging in the bathroom after he ate a meal much larger than he should have. Yoongi knew Jimin was struggling; he probably knew more about Jimin's emotions than the younger did. But there was nothing he could do. Jimin wouldn't talk to him about it, wouldn't say when he was feeling insecure, and wouldn't dare tell him that he still tended to purge in the bathroom at least once a week.
