"Are you going to the party tonight" It was Friday evening after school when the two boys went out to the cafe "Um I don't know. I'm honestly not in the mood to get drunk off my ass" Winwin laughed "when are you not in the mood for that?" the smaller hit him "I'm a good kid plus what if Hendery goes"

Ten and Hendery established their relationship that night at Hendery's house. They were a thing now and Ten's goal was to be perfect. Johnny left him because he was 'too crazy'. Ten would never forget the moment he found Johnny and Doyoung in bed together. What really ripped him apart was that they weren't having sex, they were cuddling, being what Ten always wanted to be with Johnny. But instead, he was just the fuck toy. Yeah he gave it good but nothing compares to real love. He's happy for Doyoung and Johnny but he still wished that he never saw them together.

"Ten, Johnny won't happen again, I'll make sure of it" Ten sighed "You can't protect me forever" The taller reached for Ten's hand and smiled "Well I'm here for now, let's make it last" He squeezed his hand for a bit then let go. Ten put his head down on the table and mumbled "How do you know it won't happen again. How do you know he won't see me tonight and think 'I need someone normal'?" He looked up again with genuine concern in his eyes "I can't tell you that he won't but if he does you guys just weren't meant to be. Ten, you don't have to go to the party but you can't hide that side of you from him because he'll eventually find out. I think you're perfect no matter what, puking on me or not" Ten smiled. Winwin had always been there when he needed him and it seemed like he always would be.

Morning became night and the party was in two hours. Ten was by himself in his room thinking of what to do. There was still a lot of time to get ready and call WinWin to pick him up. 'Ok I'm not going but maybe I could just try on some clothes as if I were' He smiled to himself and opened his closet. He went from just trying on clothes to picking out something for the party. 'I'm only going for WinWin...' He thought about inviting Hendery but he was honestly scared. But you have to face your fears right?

Ringggggggggggg ringggggggg. "Hey ten, what's up?" The smaller had gathered enough courage to call and invite Hendery to the party. "Uh there's a party in two hours that I'm going too, want to come with?"

"Sure" On the inside Ten was screaming and almost regretting his choice but hopefully, it wolud be worth it. "Ok, me and Winwin are going to come get you at 9. Bye baby" he winked then hung up

Sorry for the rly short chapter I promise that the next will be longer. I'm *screaming* recently I got the Nct Empathy album (dream version) for my birthday. Still mad that sm didn't do something like Black On Black this year with the new members. Anyways, enjoy Jaehyun's dimples
