Let the book begin

Its just another normal school day at Cambridge High but for some odd reason, me and Arthur have grown extremely close over the past couple of days but of course someone just had to post on our school website that me and Arthur are dating but its not really possible since we are both not interested in same sex relationships.
**School Bell rings and I am headed for my locker**
"Hey Josh, want a ride home?" Arthur says completely snapping me out of thought.
"Yeah, sure but will you buy me a chocolate or something on the way?" I said but quickly reprimanding myself for blushing because I could literally feel my cheeks heat up from his good looks.
Wait, what?! Good looks and blushing can only mean one thtoday."oh please don't. Do I really have a crush on him, well, it could explain the fuzzy feeling I have around him and the spraks the fly when we are around each other.
"Are you ready?" he asked
"Yeah sure" I reply.
The drive was in comfortable silence when he finally broke it and asked.
"How was your day?"
"Uhmm, is that even a question because you had already asked me that today."
"Ok fine. Since we have already arrived, what would you like to have?" He said while wrapping his hand around my waist which left me star struck.
Arthur chortled his throat causing me to snap back into reality.
"I would like to have a medium burger with fries and a soda, please." And you sir, said the cashier?
"I would like some chicken nuggets with a soda please."
"If that is all then it will amount to $88,77" said the cashier
"That would be a takeout please".
Arthur took out his card and paid for the meal then we moved to sit on the couch. Our order was called and we moved to the car. We sat and ate in the car and he drove me home. As I was exiting the car while fetching my notepad and textbooks from his trunk.
"Josh!, uhmm, can I have a hug?
"Well, sure."
He came closer and put his hands around my waist and kissed me my cheek and said, "Good Night"
"Good Night" I said back.
He pulled back and got into his car and drove off.
I got inside and my met my mother with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"How was your day, sweety?"
"It was special, trust me" I reply
"Care to share?" she asked
"Uhmm, not really"
"Any homework?" she asks
"Nope" I said popping the *p*
"Okay sweety, dinner will be ready in a few."
"Imma go get a shower and I will be down."
"Ok Joshy."
As I was showering, I couldn't stop thinking about Arthur and his amazing natural scent. His good looks and masculine hands. Ahh Arthur, wait, am in love?
I possibly could be but if I am then I am not saying anything until he proposes I guess?? If he does, do I say yes or no. Hmmm?!
I get out of the shower and I see I got missed calls from him[Arthur]. What could possibly want?!
Arthurs POV
I tried calling Josh but he didn't answer his phone so I assumed he was busy. I tried again and he finally answered on the third ring.
"How's my special friend I asked?" I asked
And yes to answer your question, I do like Josh. A lot.
"I'm good and you?" he said
"Great know that I hear your voice. I just wanted to hear your voice and ask you to go out for ice cream tomorrow also its my treat" I said.
"Well sure especially since tomorrow is a Saturday and I don't have any assignments that are outstanding, I would love to join you tomorrow." he said
"Great. I will text you the rest of the info in a few.
Good night my sweet Joshy." I replied in a voice I hoped was husky enough.
"Good to you too. Arthur." he said.
I sent him the text and as I was about to go down for dinner, I get a call from my ex, Miranda Lambert. It rang for a while until my sister came in and I quickly rejected the call.
"Why you so jumpy. Anyway dinner's ready and Dad said he wants to tell us about us about a vacation him and mom want to take so let's go."
"I'm right behind you sis."
What could Miranda possibly want?! Whatever it is, I don't want yo hear it especially after how she left me for this Jock in the football team. Josh was the only one who comforted me in this difficult time [except for my family, duh].
We finished dinner and Dad told us that Him and mom are going on a vacation to Bali. They also told us that no parties will be hosted and a whole lotta information. They also mentioned that we could each have one friend over and I immediately thought about Josh. They are leaving tomorrow in the morning and Micaylah was tell Mom and Dad how she wanted to go to a sleepover at her best friends house over the time period Mom and Dad were on vacation which meant I was home alone for like 1 week. They finally agreed after Micaylah begging them.
I excused myself and headed for my room where I took a shower and went to bed.
