A week or so had passed and Mason and I talked but nothing more had happened. It’s the morning of the first day of school and well as Olivia said, “Dress to impress baby!”  It’s a new year and I am scared that I’ll go back to school and be who I have always been, a nobody. Looking for clothes to wear to school was like a freaking scavenger hunt, it sucks. I finally found a pair of dark blue jeggings and an off one shoulder shirt with flowers on it. I put my clothes on and did my normal make up routine, I wandered down stairs when I was finished and got out an apple and began to eat. Taking my last bite I threw the core in the trash and made my way back upstairs, I slid my feet into my favorite light brown heeled boots with buckles and went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I came back to my room and slung my brown leather messenger bag over my shoulder and got my car keys and phone. I walked out my front door to see Mason and his motorcycle sitting in my driveway. I cocked my eyebrow at him and he just smirked and checked me out with no shame. I walked to mason and gave him a bewildered look.

“Damn princess you’re looking fine if I do say so myself.” He stated smirking.

“What are you doing here?” I asked

“I’m driving you to school.” He told me getting on his bike and revving the engine. I rolled my eyes, got on behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. We were off school is only about a five minute drive from my house but with Mason’s erratic driving it took about two. Before I knew it we were at the school in a parking space near the front. I climbed off the bike and pulled my head out of the helmet shaking my straight hair so it flies around my head landing wherever.

“Thank you, Mason.” I said handing him his helmet.

“Anytime princess.” He replied putting his arm around my shoulders, people started to gather around him and I shrunk into his side. Guys were visibly checking me out and girls were shooting me daggers. “Relax Princess you’ll be fine.” He whispered making me shiver. People greeted him as he and I passed but he didn’t pay them much mind. As we walked up the front steps of the school I pried Mason’s hands off me and went in. Jack and Olivia met us near the entrance.

“Damn!” Jack exclaimed as he visibly checked me out.  I rolled my eyes and turned toward Olivia.

“Hey Olive.” I said, she was wearing black see-through tights with flowers on them, an orange pencil skirt, and a black blouse that shows a little more than should be shown.

“Charlie, you look hot.” She stated with a smile.

“Well you did say, ‘dress for success’ I just wanted to be noticed. You know?” I said smiling.

“Well I’m pretty sure you achieved the getting noticed guys can’t keep their eyes off you.” I smirked to myself as I looked around. All of a sudden I was slammed up against a wall by Mason and he had his head at the nape of my neck sucking away. When he was done he began to trail kisses that left tingles behind in their place up to my ear.

“Your mark faded and I needed people to know you were mine.” He breathed as he nibbled on my ear. He pulled back and examined his work with a giant smirk plastered to his face. With that he walked away leaving me their all hot and bothered without another word. Olivia looked like she just witnessed a crime, which in my opinion she did.

“Did Mason just give you a hickey?” She suddenly asked, “I have been trying to get that boy for years and you show up with your new self and have him within days. Amazing.” She babbled to herself.

“Olivia, I don’t have him nor do I want him. He kind of claimed me.” I stated and walked away to find my locker.

My morning classes were all finished and I was currently sitting under a tree by myself eating an apple for lunch. Olivia was talking to a teacher and said she would come find me when she was done, so naturally I’m alone. The day has been relatively easy so far, I mean it’s the first day of school I wasn’t expecting plies of homework or anything.

“Boo!” I heard a voice whisper/yell from behind the tree causing me to jump and trow my half eaten apple at the assailant. I heard husky laughter that I had come accustomed to over the past week or so. Turning around I saw Mason hunched over laughing at me.

“That was mean!” I whined and stamped my foot on the ground like a child, he looked up into my eyes smiling. Mason began to walk around me so that my back was to the tree and he was in front of me, he came close enough so that I was trapped between the tree and him.

“You know what’s mean? What’s mean is that I haven’t told you that I think you look absolutely sexy today.” He twisted his fingers through my belt loops and pulled the front of me towards him and backed us up until my back was pressed against the tree and my front against him. I gasped at his sudden movements and his smirk only widened.

“Let me go Mason.” I said as calmly as I could but my voice shook making me sound weak.

“Nah, I don’t think I will I like where we are now.” His lips now moving against my ear causing me to shiver.  “Oh and just so you know, I have football after school so either you wait for me to finish or you walk home.” And with that he let me go and walked away. I looked after him in disgust. He came over here, did that and all just to tell me he would be busy after school for a while.
