Shadows (2014)

I see shadows in the corner of my eye

I turn around to see you there

I try to touch you but you fade away to nothing

I begin to cry but I hear you say 'I love you'

I think back to when we started going out

I remember our first kiss

I remember the first 'I love you' s'

I see your shadow in front of me

I wish I could hold you one last time

I wish I could say what I truly feel

I wish I could be yours forever

I see you shadow move closer

I wish I could apologise for hurting you

I wish I could take back all the hurt I caused you

I still cry over you but no one realises it

I feel your shadow cover

As everything goes black I say 'I love you' one last time.
