Chapter Two

[3rd POV]

Four days has past since Winter met Toshinori and during those three days has been hell for her. Irisa has set Winter up on three blind dates which she decided to ditch as the young mother decided to have a movie marathon with Arianna during those three days. But on the fourth day, Irisa marched up to Winter's apartment door, used the spare key Winter gave her and entered the Wolfson residence. Upon entering, Irisa saw that no one was home. Walking into the kitchen she saw a sticky note tapped to the fridge, picking up the sticky note Irisa read the note out loud, "When out with the kids. Be back sometime! Smiley face." An irk mark appeared on her forehead, "Grr! Winter, you will go on one date, if it's the last thing I'll do!"

[Winter's POV]

I suddenly sneezed, startling Arianna and Koan who gave me a tired baby glare because he was about to go to take a nap, "Are you feeling okay mommy?" Arianna asked me as her eyes held concern for my well being.

"I'm fine, sweetheart. Someone must be talking about me," I told as I turned to Koan who was still glaring at me with his tired baby glare, "I'm sorry for disturbing your nap, Koa." I playfully rolled my eyes when I see Koan go back to sleep after I apologized. We walked to a park a good distance away from the apartment. I sit down on nearby bench under the shade of a tree as I watch Arianna run up to some kids and ask to play with them.

[Irisa's POV]

Since Winter is out, I can finally see what type of futures she might have! I walk into Winter's room, grabbed her hairbrush off her vanity and pulled out a single strand of white hair. Sitting on her bed, I close my eyes as I activate my quirk while holding the strand of Winter's hair in my right hand.

Opening my eyes again, I saw the fog surrounding me before it blew apart to reveal Winter with a blue crescent moon painted on her forehead, a symbol that marks a person as the Alpha in The Crescent Moon Pack. She stands proud among her family and the pack. I smile upon seeing this future; it means we still have hope of taking back The Crescent Moon Pack from Una.

The surrounding fog closed in and blew apart, changing the scene where I see Winter wearing a white dress that keeps changing while holding a bouquet of white and blue roses, standing near an alter. My eyes go wide in shock that I'm actually seeing the possibility that Winter might get married! "She better make me her maid of honor or I'll be very upset."

The fog closed in and blew apart again; changing the scene where I see Winter in a park holding a baby in her arms watching two children playing with each other. I gaze at the children where I immediately recognized an older Arianna playing tag with a young boy with white hair, mocha skin and violet eyes, "Try and get me, Koan!"

"Koan?!" I exclaimed in surprise as I immediately turned to Winter who gazed affectionately at her children as I walk closer to the future vision of Winter. I gaze at the sleeping baby in Winter's arms as its appearance keeps on changing from having black to blond to etc. tuffs of hair.

The fog closed in and blew apart one last time, changing the scene and what I saw caused me to go pale and my blood to run cold. Lying in a red puddle of blood on the dirt covered ground was Winter, her body covered in wounds and her lifeless crystal blue eyes stare into my own red eyes. I feel like throwing up from seeing my friend's lifeless body as I see two more bodies lying a few feet away from her. I crept toward the two bodies and I saw the lifeless eyes of Una and Zegrath. Closing my eyes, I bring myself back to reality as I reopen my eyes. Sweat covered my face; I felt something drip from my nose, already knowing I got a nosebleed.
